Mohammed), I appreciate what Minister Farrakhan said in response to the gentleman's question about allowing whites to join. 1995 was not the right time, and 2017 is still not the right time. The right time may never come. The "medicine" still needs to be provided exclusively to those who need it most. I'm a White guy and I admire the intelligence of this man and what he does for the black community. I work as a realtor. One of my associates is a member of the NOI. Before becoming a member of the NOI he was a jail convict who served 10 years in prison. He converted in prison to NOI. Today, he is still a follower of this good man. He is a successful realtor making good money, married with children and they live in a nice home. Before he found the NOI, he was lost criminally prone man. Today he's cleaned up, good career. Im Sunni and I cant help but love him either dispite whatever resentment lie in the back of my head when I hear him throw a veil of racial tribalism over some of his interperatations of the Quran. I believe out of Islamic principles, which they saw as something they could use to fight degeneration in their communities, they had to develope a mythology which had to include some racial component because the environment over there is so hyper-racialized. I would say though that the very tribalism they weave into their mythology is a reflection of the Rabbi's works which he condemns as the cause of black suffering in America (the Talmudic rendering of the story of ham and so on). The rabbis were also in the position of the oppressed when they developed their tribalism, thats why they caused that suffering when the position changed so its not good in the long run nor is it righteous in my opinion
