That B Class cabin has to be one of the nicest I've seen in ages, A really good blend of quality and tech.

Had this as a rental in Menorca. All bells and whistles, with auto box. Theres literally no space in the boot once you stick a pushchair in. The cabin is nice modern soft touch and spacious, the sound system is only nice when you crank it up to high volume, otherwise the road noise is what you get to hear the most. Had the b200d (150) and it was very pokey, BUT - if its wet and when u step on it the car is static and the wheels turn endlessly... when u accelerate at higher speed the gearbox is laggy cos it drops like three gears down. Also, the upshift seems to be a bit jerky when u stop and go constantly (u step on it and it likes to think what to do next just like he says here - loads of torque but the gearbox is dim). Its all a nice looking car but like i said in my other comments - with the lane assist (which can't be turned off and makes you think like u scrape against a wall when u drive over a lane), this car is made for either a lady who learns how to drive or a pensioner who needs constant reminders that they are mobile and on the road.

this channel should be so much bigger and some of the things HJ can do is to generate more content (almost daily!) at around the 10-minute length, get the likes and more comments, the youtube algorithm loves this! always entertaining and look forward to the next one!

My 206 was like a kid on a kilo of sugar when it came to traffic announcements... you'd get to the top of Leeds, and BBC Radio Humberside or BBC Radio Teesside would chip in occasionally, with York and Leeds following soon after. My 208? Might get an independent station once a day. If it can be arsed. And usually not on a long journey. Bliss 95% of the time, slightly irksome the other 5% (when you really could've done with it). Is the style and kit offered by these enough to sway people from van-style MPVs like the Berlingo?

Nice one! Totally agree with this review as spent ages researching and test driving before opting to buy and run an i3 and a 225XE in our household. The plug-in hybrid is really well designed and reasonably quick for a heavy baby wagon avec a weighty battery pack thanks to the four wheel drive and electric torque at the rear. The 225XE is also the closest I’m going to come to owning and driving an i8 as it sports a very similar, though detuned, powertrain. What it lacks in CFRP and fancy door hinges it makes up for in door pockets and cup holders 😬

I generally like your reviews - I actually love them - but I keep wondering what the f..k are you talking about here, what mad shrooms did you ingest? You're comparing the Mercedes B-class to BMW 2-series, as you should... But the BMW has ugly interior, ugly exterior, old tech, and is generally so outdated, while the Mercedes has the most modern and, in my oppinion, the most beautiful car in that segment ever made, and you'd still pick the BMW even though you KNOW that you should be picking the Mercedes?!! Makes me wonder... Were you hit in the head recently?

Great review, Mark, and loving the cap! I suppose you've got to respect Mercedes-Benz for persevering with an MPV, given that the market for these types of vehicles is dying and the BMW 2 Series MPVs won't be replaced. The AMG-line version is ridiculous, just as it is on most M-B models, where it just writes cheques the cars can't cash.

Such utterly bland styling on the outside, but really pleasant on the inside, such a shame. I once heard a comedian say local radio stations kept the traffic announcements going for a minute or two after the traffic bit was done, to boost their local listener figures. I'm not entirely sure that as a joke or fact...?
