The young actor who played Wallace was Ronnie Burns. He was adopted as an infant by George Burns and Gracie Allen so he grew up in an entertainment environment. As a teenager and young man, he acted in about 18 TV shows and movies and was a regular on the Burns and Allen show. George Burns’ best friends Red Skelton and Jack Benny also used him on their shows. He was careful with the money he made, and left showbiz in his early 20s to get involved in real estate investment and also a passion of raising Arabian horses. He came back to showbiz on occasion to work behind the camera in several of his father’s productions.

This episode reminds me of how much fun my late husband and I had spending a whole day and part of the evening at Playland in Rye, NY while we in our 30's. Rowing a boat on the lake, riding the Dragon Coaster three times, going on all the other rides, even riding the carousel, winning prizes at the game booths, then holding hands or hugging watching fireworks before taking a bus home. Nothing wrong with acting like a kid!

Here's another great aspect of the Honeymooners to acknowledge. Every performer was spot on and ready to do their lines on a dime. Especially Art Carney portraying Ed Norton, and you just knew off the bat he was gonna have great comic repartee with Jackie as Ralph Kramden. George Petrie as well, a very versatile character who played a lot of good roles in the show, including a fellow bus driver of Ralph's. Every actor on that show was on their mark and always gave a fine performance.

Loved the painted backdrop out the window. In the 50's I thought that was a real building. And then those drab walls. Post WWII in a tenement.

I watched this episode years ago when I was a teenager, and I remember thinking, "Yeah, well, Ralph, you're old and memories or no memories, you're still gonna be old." Now I'm older than Ralph was in this episode, and I'm dredging up memories as fast as I can.

I loved this woman in the live audience (must have been in the front row and the loudest live audience member I have ever heard…lol) has a running commentary and loud laugh throughout this episode and says “don’t fall down” and “steady now.” She was more audible than the cast.😅
