The abandoned Lustron that they stood near is a rare model. Around here, west central Ohio, the Westchester model, in Maize yellow, is common.

They stopped making Lustron homes in 1959.

Cite source please. The Lustron Corporation closed in 1953 in bankruptcy Court. Last models were made on 1951/52.
