Kargath Bladefist (WoD) well the dwarves sacrificed much in the battle,out numbered and fighting in open field.Even though the dwarves were outnumbered they had many veterans amongst them.While the elves fought along side the dwarves they retreated towards Dale,leaving the dwarves to fight by themselves against the main orc army.But I think the men felt more the dwarves than elves since they knew the elves comes back while dwarves dont

Marcel Schöne and once you think about it,the dwarves suffered a lot in the third age and a lot about them was written off.Like how most of the defense in the north (During the war of the fellowship of the ring) was the dwarves of Erebor,IronHills and the men of Dale against the Sauron’s eastern reinforcements.Without them,the Elven realms would’ve been conquered the war in the south would’ve been different.
@tiaaaron32784 жыл бұрын
@@laststandinstalingrad5162 It was the elves who destroyed Dol-Guldur, the main outpost of Sauron in the North. The victory in War of the Ring was the combined efforts of ALL races. If you missed the elves' accomplishments, then you missed the whole fucking point of Tolkien's legendarium.

This moment disgusts men. It disgusts me how Men of Lake-Town are mourning for a dishonorable unworthy piece of trash. Thorin broke their oath to them, Thorin threatened to murder them all in their faces and Thorin did jackshit in the movies. Killing Azog literally had no effect on the plot. Thorin was a useless selfish dishonorable jerk. Now in the book, he was a true hero who united three races.

@@tiaaaron3278 I hope you know that Erebor was attacked by the Easterlings in which both kings fell (King Brand of Dale and King Dain Ironfoot) its theorized by most LotR content creators on KZbin that had the dwarves not succeeded the elven realms would have been crushed my the east forces from Rhun so stop talking about Dol Guildure because that's on the talking plate.

Incorrect. If you look up the video LOTR/Hobbit Horns 2 by MaedhrosFington13, at roughly 2 minutes in it shows the Horn of Dale, which is the exact same horn (and in roughly the same place) as one one played here. The difference is the pitch, which could be changed by the user's 'voice'. Please refrain from calling people dumb fucks.

Tia Aaron before thorin charged with the dwarves everything fall apart, you are a dumbass if you don’t think Thorin was the main reason they won the battle. He killed a lot of orcs, all the dwarves, elves and men got motivation for the king under the mountain came back. And the orcs basically was the slaves of Azog without him they just falled apart. So to say it didn’t mean anything to Azog is blant wrong and you know it yourself. Thorin son of thrain son of thror, king under the mountian defeated the dragon sickness which no one has done in middle earth history and without him they would have lost. He gave mental strength to everyone and sacrifized himself to Kill the leader of the enemy. Get you ass out of here if you’re disrespecting Thorin ever again.

(Bilbo sees the rest of the dwarves behind him) Bilbo: If any of you are ever passing Bag End, uh… tea is at 4. There’s plenty of it. You are welcome anytime. @vishnu793 жыл бұрын
Rule passed to Dain, Thorin's cousin. There did Dain rule as King Under the Mountain well and long until the time of the War of the Ring, where Dain fell defending the body of Brand, who had become King of Dale, before the Gates of Erebor, from a great host of Easterlings. Several days after the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, where Aragorn and the armies of Gondor with their allies, chief among them the Horse-Men of Theoden, King of Rohan, routed the majority of Sauron's vile army from before the walls of Minas-Tirith, word came to the Easterlings besieging the Dwarf-Kingdom of Erebor of this defeat, and they became panicked and afraid. Seeing this, the forces of Men and Dwarves that had retreated into the Mountain, now led by Thorin III, son of Dain, and namesake of his fallen cousin, Thorin Oakenshield, and now Lord of Erebor and King Under the Mountain, as well as Bard II, son of Brand, now King of Dale charged forth from the Gates of Erebor and attacked the Easterlings and there they slew them and mounded the bodies of the treacherous Men loyal to Sauron in great heaps until they broke, and fled from Erebor.

@@timon6759 Actually, how hard you blow, and your voice have a major effect on how horns like that work. If you Blow hard, with emitting a higher register tone then it'll be a higher, shriller sound, or blowing consistently in a lower register to bring this deeper, richer sound. You notice there's a shift in the tone about 23 seconds in, that's the other horns joining in, and they each would have practiced their technique to figure out exactly how to manipulate their voice and breathing to produce the effect.
