Yeah they need to up the spawn chance of this item significantly. I’ve done a couple coral runs and I’ve gotten no horn at all. I’ve just been excited for this update specifically to mess with that thing and it’s a pain in the butt to get

We've been finding one for every three Shrines or Treasuries we visit so far. But we've heard a lot of people also say they seem too hard to find right now.

The horns do stack! And if you are on a Galleon you can also use them on different sails for more speed!

@@RareThief Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this also mean that now, a Galley with 3 people with horns WILL outpace a Sloop against the wind, even if the Sloop also has a Horn, because of the stacking effect? This sounds like it will be a horrible time for Sloopers, solo or duo. I hope I'm wrong because this will kill the game for me. I was already tired of having to constantly fight off Reaper galleys and sometimes outrun them on chill days where I just grind ledger rankings, and now this.

Is it possible to move your ship backwards with it? Last night my crew watched a reaper traveling backwards in a circle for a couple of minutes. We weren't close enough to tell how it was happening, my best guess was the horn.

I've checked a total of 20 shipwrecks without finding a single Horn over four different sessions. Any tips to obtaining one of these would be highly appreciated!

We’ve had much more luck with Shrines and Treasuries. We just kept going back and forth between the Shrine and Treasury that are close together in The Ancient Isles.

Do you know how to get the cosmetics for the knives and the double barrel? For example, it says kill 50 skeletons for the sea dog skin, but is that just 50 total for grade 5 or is it more?

Yeah, so 50 is just for Grade I. To unlock the cosmetic, you'll need to reach and complete Grade V. We don't know how many you need for Grade V yet. But yeah, it's more than 50.

@@RareThief I’m a little disappointed, these are just basic skins but their requirements are pretty steep (minus the admiral ones) but you go to the emporium and the skins are much better. The emporium didn’t exist at the start of the game so we got more regular skins, but with these new weapons, we don’t have the same luxury. I understand Rare is a business but I think they may be encouraging the emporium a bit too much this time around, but that’s just my opinion.

It does sound like it is hard to come by for most of the community. You are sailing to the Shrines and Treasuries right? We went back and forth between the two Shrine and Treasuries in the Ancient Isles that are nearby until we found one.

@RareThief it was perfect with the simplicity of the game before all these new additions in this season, the wind horn pretty much makes you untouchable and the zip lines make it easy to board boats without any extra skill, that's just my opinion though 🤷‍♂️ to each their own!
