@@andromedashun6697 though it does, on appearance, resemble the scream, it's really quite different. This piece is obviously something supposed to be in the horror genre; if it wasn't made to be explicitly 'haunted', I'd say it's supposed to be some feeling of death or horror. The scream, meanwhile (german expressionism is the movement, if I remember correctly?) does proportions, colors- everything, actually- differently. Rather than horror, as people assume with something that's screaming, it's the representation of an anxiety attack that Munch had while on a bridge with two friends (as shown in the painting). It's supposed to be distorted and wrong, with wrong colors and such, to replicate some of that feeling. In the Anguished Man, however, there's no such extreme distortion. It's actually similar to how mummies dry. Mouth agape, eyes empty. I wouldn't compare them.

For me it is hard to take anything being haunted after what I had happened to brother sisters and l while growing up ! We grew up in the 50's and 60's where you had to fiscally turn the tv on or off the house was over 75 years old also . We have been sitting at the table eating supper and the tv came on by itself . It has even done it while each of us had been at home alone . We even had a piano that not the player type of piano but the kind you had to push the keys down to play it . It had happened many times that the piano started playing with no one near it at all . Again this piano was not type that you could put the roll in and it would play it was just a regular old upright piano . The tv was was and old tube type that in order to turn it on or off or change channels you had to turn the knobs . It has came on and shut off by itself . So stuff like this painting and other supposedly haunted stuff just makes me laugh . Oh here is a good one I now live in a house that was built in 1890 and last added on in the late 1970's . One of my nephews was staying with me one weekend . He got up late and I was already up sitting in my chair having some toast and tea . He walked into the room and said oh breakfast cooking good I'm hungry . Now I don't have a cook stove of any kind being single I use only a microwave . I laughed at him and said take another smell . He oh cooking on the grill . Again I nope don't have one either . He goes then how come I smell eggs and bacon cooking on wood . I said okay you can look around to see if you can find where it is coming from . He couldn't that shook him a little . But the straw that broke the camels back was he came running out of the house say screw you uncle I'm going home . I asked what happened he said that he had just seen a headless ghost in the pantry . He packed so fast and left that I thought he was going to break his neck getting into his car . Yes I had seen the headless ghost before and yes I had smelt the eggs , bacon and even sourdough biscuits cooking in my house many times before and still do from time to time . Still no cook stove of any kind and no grill either . No one not even family will stay more than one night with me because of the strange stuff that happens here . It doesn't bother me at all .

@@angelwings0076 also blood doesn't stay red. It gets flakey brown and it looks terrible. The color just isn't consistent. (This is embarrassing, but I used to be a 14 year old artist. I tried it.) Blood doesn't mix with any paint very well. In acrylic you may as well mix in spit. Depending on how much blood you mix in, It looks terrible or like no blood was mixed in at all. and in oil it won't mix in at all. Maybe like a drop if you smeared it over the painting after it dried.. again, it sounds good to people who don't paint, but unless its watercolor, its not going to work. And that painting is CLEARLY not watercolor.

I truely enjoyed this video ! You have given me the strength to come forward ! We also have a haunted object ! We keep it in a small room in the hall. It is 25 yrs old and was left by the former owner. Sometimes when it is used loud bangs or gutteral noises of distress can be heard. When you leave something in it it disappears. It is a large ceramic type bowl. It mysteriously fills with water and makes a hissing whoosh noise. For our safety it has been bolted to the floor and a lid secured to the top so it can not roam the house as we sleep and devour us ! I can make some videos to capture some of the reported occurences. Peace out Mike !
