To be honest I’m scared. I live in Illinois. On Halloween a creepy white van circled around my neighborhood. So I ran home. Also I was at a hotel with my little sister. So this creepy guy started whistling at us and we turned around my mom was standing behind him but he didn’t know and she was signing “go” so we ran. Then once we walked to the car alone. You have to understand that some communities are made differently. Usually this is true and it's an obvious rule that I agree with but some communities really don't care about these things. Of course this is double edged because not everyone is trust worthy and is a 'decent person'. For instance in north america, canada and the us, there's a huge issue with letting kids go out and being by themselves and walking home but in places like japan you have kids taking subways or just walking many miles do errands. The reason why this was possible is because of the communities trust in each other. Go figure, lower crime rates. China is not different but not as great as Japan. They also have low crime rate and communal trust in each other compared to the US. So I agree with what you're saying but its not always the right answer because some places are just different. 😅

Nunnuv Yorbizniz That's beyond idiotic, in china that isn't a common thing at all. I know several Chinese people and most of them have never even heard of that kind of thing, I know it happens in the south but as I said it's not like they have dog hamburgers ever other week. Also from my understanding it's basically only men who eat it. In Asia there are dishes that are very strange for us that some men eat "for potency" if you get what I mean, but by far most people don't, especially up north. You should really find out about stuff before you speak.

I don't buy that Yingying was his only victim. Edit: I'm not saying I believe his confession, nor am I necessarily saying he's killed others. A lot of serial killers start with leaving living victims before they start killing. Even once they've begun to kill, sometimes they don't kill them all - it's sometimes how they're captured.

I've seen some other comments like this too. It is indeed possible that he had killed before and perhaps that will come to light in the future. Anyway I suspect that he's lying/exaggerating to make himself seem like more of a hardcore killer than he is. Perhaps Yingying was his first kill ever and that was why he struggled with her so much and why he didn't cover his tracks better. It may seem strange but killers and serial killers alike have lied and embellished their body counts. The most famous of which is probably the case of Henry Lee Lucas, who confessed to dozens of murders but it was later discovered that the majority of these confessions were falsehoods and he was taking credit for crimes committed by others to get more notoriety.

Poor girl. She was going to start her life and then she gets killed in this horrible way. I can’t imagine what she must have gone through. Also her parents and friends these people deemed her to be safe and ... she gets killed. The perpetrator gets life in prison.. In China he would be hanged the day after he was found guilty. They do things different there and that’s what made the boyfriend and the parents so angry after the verdict. It must be unbelievable heartbreaking to be so far away from your child and be told that she disappeared... I have a daughter myself, only the thought of it makes me sick.

@scharlachnachtfalter19004 жыл бұрын
In China, death penalty is carried out by a bullet to the heart. And yes, if the same thing happened in China the offender would in no doubt be put to death, and that is what people believe is justice there. Because to our culture, justice means equal retribution, it doesn't concern about the rehabilitation of criminal who committed crime of certain severity.
@lilitheden7484 жыл бұрын
