This guy reminds of a modern day Jeffrey Dahmer, even including how the police saw him taking a young, stumbling, teen (most likely) back to his apartment and then just letting him walk away, suspecting or knowing, that this child is drugged, drunk, or sick!! And this is not the 80s, this is the 2010s-it’s outrageous that this man was allowed to continue his disgusting behavior, eventually leading to murders!

The bad ones give us all a bad name, I have been called Jeffrey Dahmer by homophobic neighbours because I am a bit of a loner except for having several lodgers (male & female) come & go, however I have never got involved with any of them & I have been celibate for 15 years, each time I have reported homophobic neighbour's gangstalking & abuse & smear campaign to Lambeth police they stonewall & gaslight me & even threaten to arrest me, when I filmed some verbal abuse & physical threats Lambeth police (who I once volunteered for and they claim to be at the forefront of LGBT rights, there is even a rainbow flag atop the Lambeth Town Hall in ) they said I provoked my abusive narcissistic neighbour of 10 years and they have even threatened to arrest me for defending myself, the police want a quiet life & they don't want to be accused of racism so they routinely stonewall & gaslight LGBTs who come forward because they know we are a vulnerable minority & often lone victims / targeted individuals, in this way the Met enable the abusers & narcissistic neighbours & gangstalkers, the Met will only take affirmative action when they are faced with media exposure or heads are about to roll, otherwise the LGBT homicide & suicide stats can just mount up for all they care, after all we brought it on ourselves, right?

Absolutely heartbreaking. I really hope the families are receiving the support they need now and are doing much better. Another highly detailed and interesting video once again! I absolutely love when you break down the psychology behind some of these people, I find myself nodding in excitement and agreement lol, that’s one of the main things that intrigues me about these types of people, so please keep sharing! Also adding the interrogation footage was a brilliant idea, I LOVE watching interrogations, you could tell the pressure was becoming increasingly too much for him as the officer pressed him further, so fascinating! I definitely am for more interrogation footage, and also very intrigued to hear your opinion on it! It's amazing. 100s of thousands of messages? I mean that's beyond compulsive right!? I will say getting bullied in school is very rough. It can make a person very hurt, bitter and angry, or just depressed. It's not so much an excuse as an explanation. Maybe we should try and mind what we say to others. Either way, this is a very well-explained case and is presented in a good way. The actions of the police often leave me angry and confused..

My kids went to school in Texas USA until the eldest was 10. They were schooled on “Zero Tolerance for Bullying” from kindergarten. It really worked! They learnt to feel sorry for bullies because they’re weak & damaged…little ones raised thinking like that are far less likely to ever bully. When they started school in Britain my eldest was shocked by the kids horrid behaviour that teachers tolerated. He saw a little boy bullied by 3 bigger boys, right in front of 2 teachers, who said nothing! My son is still friends with that boy. They’re in the 6th form at a grammar school & doing great. They were born on the same day…

There wasn't a real police investigation, was there? That was the greater part of the trouble - these officers assumed that gay young men would be likely to be either suicidal, or have access to drugs which they'd be likely to take to excess. Problem solved. Each and every one of them should have been kicked out of the force. Your analysis of Port may be correct - I don't know; I have questions about how he was able to acquire this drug, with such apparent ease, but that may just be naive of me - drugs may be far easier to obtain than I would know. It takes more than access to drugs, or exposure to pornography, however, to make a person a serial killer - nor is it enough to say Port was a psychopath, though he undoubtedly is. Probing these people's motives is not for the amateur: but the police clearly need to be far better trained in psychology - if they're capable of absorbing any training worth its name.

Doesn't sound ridiculous in the least. Every time I see footage of a victim. I wish I could reach through and grab them to protect them. It is our inner compassion and desire to rescue others. My belief at least.

It's hard to believe this moron got away with even one murder. That suicide letter conveniently letting himself off rhe hook was ridiculously obvious. If the strange claims with the first dead boy didn't get him caught, that letter should have.

Goes to show how badly gay men (and male rape victims in general) are treated by police. Obviously this failure isn't an isolated incident (the Met of course have a long and storied history of incompetence) but, as someone who fits the profile of Port's victims, I think the fact that these poor families had to do their own amateur investigations before the police - the ones whose literal job it is to investigate and solve crimes - bothered to do any serious work is utterly pathetic. Sack the whole force and start afresh with a bunch of people who actually care about doing their job and give a shit about people.

I come from law enforcement.. You wouldn’t believe the things they say and talk about at the station. They’re just people with uniforms and power - nothing more. But if the world only knew …

@🔴 Bucket Head I'm from Australia, unfortunately we're not much better. There was the "Gay Gang Murders" in Sydney where as many as 88 gay men were murdered between 1970 and 2010(!) - most were thrown off a cliff. Of course most of them were considered accidents or suicides at the time; one man who admitted to one of the murders 30 years later got a whopping eight years in prison! And that's not to mention the countless gay men who were beaten for sport in the same time period.

6:20 isn’t it crazy how these days a person to seemingly have no red flags is one of the biggest red flags there is??

For a once great police force, they have shown incredible incompetence...

The system failed the victims and their families. If it was the other sex it would have been all out war until the perp was found, as we have seen on many, many occasions, also being on of the best know surveillance coverage places in the world, nothing much gets past it. The system will do everything in their power to lessen the incompetence of their initial investigation so they have no liability. Regardless of the sex of said victims, it was still utterly pathetic on the whole policing part. Glad he gets no chance of release, be nice if he was in general population so the big boys can get hold of him, but we all know protection is where he is, because you know, he has human rights SMFH

Obviously, in the United States, a class-action lawsuit against the London Metropolitan Police would be filed on behalf of the families of Port’s multiple rape and murder victims. The Police were flagrantly incompetent, and bc of their homophobia, were quite simply UNINTERESTED in seriously investigating *any* of the claims about and abundant, obvious evidence against Port, which essentially allowed the serial killer to operate with impunity. The police should have to remunerate the families of Port’s victims in the order of several million pounds.

Why does law enforcement look down on gay crimes? I literally can’t understand it, and I even come from a family of cops and 911 operators, corrections, and fire.

no I don't understand it either and think it is terrible especially this case, the number of mistakes are horrific

I was tripping on what you said about his anger at the end. When I see his mugshot without the wig, he looks scary to me. I always notice that weird little whisper of a smile behind his crossed eyes, and imagine him exploding with rage at the moment of attack.

Homophobia; in Manchester uk there as been think nearly 100 deaths in the canals over the last ten years all young men ; lots of people know him as the pusher ; yet the police won’t investigate this ; saying they all were drunk and fell into the canal ; so many of them were in the canal by the gay bars ; if it was young women I’m 100% sure more would of been done about this ;

Is it just me, or when Port talks, he sounds like he's very drunk? Also, what a terrible bias and extreme incompetence the police had during this case.

Not sure what is more sickening the acts and the image of this freak or the absolute incompetence and corruption by the police, with such clear failings senior officers should have been removed fro post, not promoting the officers responsible. IOPC are renowned for a bias towards the police and im sure thats the end of any chance of repercussions, any action now will be a generic 'we will endeavour to learn from these mistakes' type conclusion... absolute tragedy.
@evilamongus2022 Жыл бұрын
I think both are just as horrifying that there are people out there who do these things and the people we rely on to keep us safe from these same people appear completely incompetent
