As a Memphian myself, a common complaint from the Bass Pro Shop haters (Bass Con Shop?) is the fact that it could have been an aquarium. It kinda is, but not enough of one. I love Bass Pro. Johnny Morris does a lot for conservation here in Missouri. My favorite anecdote about him is that once he had Martin Truex Jr. visiting the Bass Pro mother store - Truex is a prolific NASCAR driver primarily sponsored by Bass Pro - and had him doing donuts in the parking lot in his racing stock car. Morris, even getting up in years, was egging Truex on to get closer and closer to him doing the donuts until he very nearly clipped the man and took him out with the car. Morris then proceeded to make fun of Truex for refusing to keep going, and then got in his beat-up old Toyota truck and took off once the fun was over. He's a character.

i really like these longer videos, sometimes i need something longer to listen to in the background while i do other stuff. i understand why you'd not want to go past an hour, but it was very nice to not have to change the video im watching in the background.

If you go to Memphis to check out the pyramid and you even slightly enjoy BBQ, I highly recommend checking out Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous. I have had a lot of BBQ in my time, and I can confirm that Rendezvous serves legendary tier dry-rub ribs. Heck, forget going for the pyramid. Go for the BBQ and see the pyramid while you're there
