I love Bass Pro. Johnny Morris does a lot for conservation here in Missouri. My favorite anecdote about him is that once he had Martin Truex Jr. visiting the Bass Pro mother store - Truex is a prolific NASCAR driver primarily sponsored by Bass Pro - and had him doing donuts in the parking lot in his racing stock car. Morris, even getting up in years, was egging Truex on to get closer and closer to him doing the donuts until he very nearly clipped the man and took him out with the car. Morris then proceeded to make fun of Truex for refusing to keep going, and then got in his beat-up old Toyota truck and took off once the fun was over. He's a character.

I never watch premieres but I was frothing at the mouth for this. The iceberg iceberg was great and this is no different. Great work Kwite, would love to see what long form content you put out next

I was not expecting to get deep lore of the Bass Pro Pyramid, but damn it was interesting.

omgomgomg i went to the bass pro shops pyramid like a week ago and fell to my knees in tears in front of its glory (the sun bounced off it into my eyes and i stopped seeing for a second)
@beansdad705 ай бұрын
Yep, around noonish the sun light does bank off the south side and cast a nice beam.

I was born after they shut down the Astrodome, but I was old enough to see it still stand there. It was a bit intimidating of a building. I heard that traffic leaving the place was a nightmare.
@embers_falling5 ай бұрын
Ive heard stories from older family about how revolutionary it was and how bad the traffic was. Wish i coulda seen it. Or astroworld

i really like these longer videos, sometimes i need something longer to listen to in the background while i do other stuff. i understand why you'd not want to go past an hour, but it was very nice to not have to change the video im watching in the background.

If you go to Memphis to check out the pyramid and you even slightly enjoy BBQ, I highly recommend checking out Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous. I have had a lot of BBQ in my time, and I can confirm that Rendezvous serves legendary tier dry-rub ribs. Heck, forget going for the pyramid. Go for the BBQ and see the pyramid while you're there

I didn't want to click because I knew that despite a complete lack of interest in Memphis or Bass Pro Shop, I would watch the entire thing. And, enjoyably did. I'm happy for the people of Memphis and Bass Pro Shoppers. Thanks for the history lesson, Kwite.
