I'm amazed how thoroughly you researched the names of Jesse's horses. I knew about W.F. Cody's horse Brigham, and how fast and smart he was. You give more insight than the average high school American history teacher!

My great-great grandpa actually traded horses once with Jesse James back in the 1800's. I never knew the details of this story but now I wonder if it was not so much a "trade" or if he was one of the farmers that Jesse swiped a horse from. Unless he did manage to find the mare. 😂
