I wish this had been the ruleset for 8th edition 40k. So much more logical and intuitive, also scales up much better. Less of an e-sport and more of a wargame. I reallly hope someone makes a useable eldar list for this ruleset.

Most of that art work is not new. It’s from the forge world black books or from the Horus Heresy novels

I personally have been waiting for this edition for what feels like years.No more watching 30k battle reports with the amazing forge world kits like a fat child outside a closed sweet shop. I really hope that fellow gamers will at least give it a go before writing it off. I viewed 30k as out of my reach due to the price ,but with the new plastic models suddenly it’s affordable and with planning my sons and I will be able to recreate the action of the heresy in miniature and if the rumours are true and more kits cross the plastic rubicon 2022 is going to be a year to remember .Roll on Saturday 😁 and thanks for the sneak peek at the rules cheers.

I haven't found anything on the GW webstore that indicates a limited release and they haven't made the made to order move they did with recent launch boxes. so there is hoping

Superior rule set. The newer editions of 40k feel cheap, cheesy and clunky compared to this and older editions
