Yes, he has left by ijma’, as the ustadh brought up. The idea of organized vs general religion is just another deception and it is ruled by ignorance. These sects are going to be destroyed as their predecessors from the Khawarij and Rafidah were, and they are obsolete nowadays

Ever notice how the people who “claim” to follow the Quran only, never actually follow the Quran? وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَامًا And the servants of the Beneficent Allah are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace Never really see this.
