Last year around this time we had a horrible heat wave. I made a vlog of frying an egg in the street. It was 118 degrees farenheight. I thought I was going to die. Laid flat on the cement floor in the basement.

My 10 yr old g'daughter is doing the Duo Lingo app too.. learning to speak Dutch. With our hot weather, we have a team of volunteers that drive around town and hand out bottles of water to those that need it. I'll wait another 2 hours before I go out to water the gardens. Thanks for sharing.. 🌷

Hello, fellow welshie here, the heat yesterday was mad, I suffer with chronic pain and the heat gives me flare ups. I love my jammies, love it when I get an extra few hours in them in the morning 😅 Just checked your bio and you say you play the flute. I’ve just started picking mine up. I wondered why my leaves were yellow, will make sure to avoid the leaves, I’m surprised mine have survived (but it is the first year I’ve started planting) My best mate is Ginger, she went to her kids sports day and her skin was how you described that girls with the contrast - it looked so painful I wanted to give her a cwtch over video call, (my mate lives further away from me in Barry Island - lucky bugger lol) Just subbing now, take care x

A fellow flautist, too! I’m sorry to hear you were in pain in the heat. I hope you’re feeling better today. Thanks so much for watching. X

It's been 48°c in the sun here today and just up the road, 40.2°c in the shade. London is burning and several fields around here too. 🥺

I think that having the thermometer on the black bin is contributing to the higher reading. But even at that.. it's stinkin' hot there. We watched the fires in London on our news.. so heartbreaking. It only got as high as 27c today.. and it was perfect to dry the clothes outside.

We commonly have air conditioning in our homes, at least in all but the most northern States. It routinely gets close 30+ degrees here in East Tennessee. But if you are willing to drive up to the mountain top (around 5000 feet) it is much cooler and comfortable for hiking.

Since you enjoy extreme heat, this is one of your happiest videos. I'm glad you do but I wilt and lose energy. I agree it is good for body aches. At least you know what climate suits you. I saw there is a drought in some places, it is very dry here, lawn is dying off for lack of rain. I am watering my cheap tomato plants but only one is growing well. Black car seats get scorching in the summer sun!

Thanks for the question. I am self-employed and work as a freelance musician and also a full time KZbinr. My music work took a big hit when the first lock down struck, so I have been very seriously working on the channel since then and have continued to do so in tandem with my music work as it has come slowly back in. The gigs still aren't back up to their pre-covid levels and so the earnings from KZbin, while not enough to live on yet, are supplementing the deficit in the short term. It probably doesn't come across on the vlogs, but it does take well over the average 37.5 hours per week to produce 5-6 videos per week, plus thumbnails, plus SEO, responding to comments etc not to mention the filming, time it takes to set up shots etc etc. Plus time spent learning to use the editing software (Premiere Pro), watching tutorials, taking notes and all that. I work seven days a week on the channel, even when not uploading. I try to cut off at 11pm each night, but often go over. Thanks again for the question.
@PlanetImo2 жыл бұрын
PS - sorry I don't always get to answer all my comments - it's a time constraint thing. It clocks up to too many hours to respond to all of them but I do my best to do a good few as they're coming in.
