I was blessed with thick, soft, and healthy hair (Asian genetics), and for the past year, I've been rocking a hybrid between Old Money and Korean middle and 3/4 part (depending on my mood. My hair is perfect for all 3 styles). I used to always run with a hard part with a natural fade, which also worked fairly well. But the Old Money/Korean hairstyle has been a God-send for me. I don't think I'll ever change from these styles. I already have a pretty boy baby face, and these hairstyles just further accentuates it.

By cutting it yourself, do you do this frequently and only take a little bit off each time, or do you go from long hair to short?
@LatimusChadimus
@LatimusChadimus 7 ай бұрын
@@VladislavBabbitt Honestly it depends on the season. During the fall I prefer to let the top grow much much longer so I can oil it off to one side while still doing a layered fade but in the summertime I like to do more of a sloped fade while keeping the top at only 5 mm. In the winter time I might do a very very short crew cut or just keep it buzzed because I'm wearing a beanie anyways but it still has some sort of style for when I go out or have someone over. I missed one part of your question, yes, I do maintain it on a biweekly schedule but in the winter when I grow my beard longer I try to maintain it every 3 to 4 days

I trimmed my hair to a buzz cut as I was sick of all hairstyles. During the beginning of the lockdown, I had done the same and until everything opened again which was after more than a year I grew out my hair long (man bun length) I would only tie my hair into a bun only while working out or playing an sport but I would keep them open most of the time. It was winter time so it felt great to have long hair. As I have thick and wavy hair I didn't have to do much to style them. I got a shit ton of compliments from random people of both genders. Sadly I had to get rid of them for few college interviews. Since then I have never been satisfied with any of my hair styles. Until the last month when I decided to evenly trim my own hair at home in order to grow them out long again. Ngl long hair felt like a super power to me and it made me feel Hella confident. So yes I'm really excited to experience this journey again even tho it's gonna take a long time. Now I agree most of the people of both genders don't really like or prefer long hair but it worked well for me and it did fetch me a lot of compliments so I'm going for it again. Is that enough of a reason to not care about anyone's opinions and grow my hair out again?

I've been bald since I was 19, I'm 42 now. It just meant I had to work hard on getting a good physique and a good skincare and fashion routine. I'm in England, and I've noticed that a lot of younger girls here in 20's and 30's don't like bald guys, older women don't mind at all, but all of the compliments over the years, and dates, I've had, have been with Eastern European girls - as they really liked the shaved look, especially in Poland, I don't know why that is?

DO NOT CHANGE YOUR HAIR : IT IS GORGEOUS AND BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤ Maybe instead of parting it in the middle, do all of your hair flipped to one side for a "different look"....... and as for me, i'm rocking the fade with long hair on top. Sometimes a top tail, but i have thin fine hair so it tends to break from bending under its own weight. Sometimes i wear it down parted in the middle like you...... the last time i did that i was wearing my black Calvin suit reading and chilling at Barnes n Noble. I got cat-called by 2 young ladies... i thought it was people pretending to be cats, and when i looked up and saw the two of them one kept cat-calling and the other burst out laughing... 🙏❤

This channel gives great advice generally, but i couldn't help but think this was the most safe basic takes on mens hair. As someone who enjoys going out often and lives an alternative lifestyle (corperate by day, punk by night) i was just eye rolling the preference for basiallly upper class white men hair cuts. Thats the whole video. The most popular cuts in my scene being the edgar and the mullet are usually worn by the men who are getting action but its low quality. Which is kinda funny but i operate in diffrent world than Courtney so I get why she picked what she did. I have long cury hair which i generally let go. In the office is a man bun thats messy, when i go out I generally try to braid a lil bit to be presentable -think Geralt from the witcher. Also there was a big lack of POC hairstyles. There was like 1 african american, and 2 asians in the whole video.I guess if she doesn't know the culture and she wouldnt be comfortable speaking on it. Which makes sense but the video just felt like it catered to rich white dudes in their 30s. I am 36 and white and not rich. That being said after folowing for 2 years this is probably my least favorite video. Gentleman please see a barber or if you have longer or curly hair, a stylist. I did the great clips thing till i was 20 and once i found a stylist she helped me find styles that worked with my hair. Because of my stylist working with me and knowing my hair and face type she turned me into a handsome beast. I hope that helps. Stop going to sports clips and great clips for real.

My hair is slightly shorter than yours. The benefits of long hair imo is the versatility. I can wear it in a bun, or like semi bun, all down, side part etc. Another plus is while everyone in the room looks the same, I'm the only guy with long hair and a beard. I feel it helps me stand out, especially when dressed nice.

I'm almost 70 and not really sparse like my mom's dad, which is my normal hair progression, and it's because I use coconut oil on my head. I love the pomade I'm using because it's organic and has coconut oil in it so it sits on my head until I put more on, after washing. What I'd like to do is degrease the appearance which doesn't seem to fade until day four. You might do a video on how a guy can degrease his hair after pomade

My hair is down to my lower, lower back. It's thick, and I don't have any style for it other than just putting it in a tail. The front of my hair (my bangs I suppose) weren't long enough to be in the tail so they stuck out obscenely on my sides. So I cut them off where they started to stick out, and if you only look at me from the front, my hair looks similar to the old money style. I don't style it, it's just how my hair goes naturally. But then the back of course is my long hair, straight near the head, and gets slightly wavy at the ends.

How about some help for a young athletic 50 year old that always had long flowing hair. Been thinning for 13 years and reached the point where the crown is gone. Still plenty of hair on sides and front but the back of the head is completely gone. Been trying to bite the bullet and shave but from the front I still have solid long hair. What to do? I've had the same stylist since I was young and fly back to Cleveland to see her once a year. Not sure that my next move is something I want to do alone.

Hi Courtney. Hope you’re doing well. I have a hairstyle suggestion for you. How about a sleek blunt cut chin length bob?

If you are well trained, have full hair and a pretty face, you can rock everything. Dont let your hair/sides grow when you have a receding hairline. If you go for that old money look, that takes a lot of time to make it look casual and you need to wear clothes in old money style.

So I've been 1l/2 grade to grade 1 short for 20 years. Never going to change it! If Women don't like it there are plenty of ponces for them to choose from assuming they are attracted to Women.

I'd love to see you in a short chin length bob idk it might seem bit drastic but you'd rock in it and especially in this summers I feel you should give it a try, you already look great in all looks

I agree with you on the hairstyles that you don't like, but So. Many. People in Montréal have them now!! I feel like the Anna Kendrick hairstyles would look good on you. Any of them. Well, the way she puts hair up looks nice 😊

Courtney - you should do a video on being bald. I keep mine shaved down and I think it looks great, but some guys grow out the friar look and I think it makes you look older. I know not every guy can pull off the bald look, but I think a lean/muscular body shaved bald is badass. Some facial hair is OK but I still prefer clean shaven. Basically like Johnny Sins lol.

I really like the "Old Money" or "Ivy League" haircut despite the pretentious name. Not something that I'd personally rock since I've got coarse hair and prefer keeping it as short as possible without having to use any product, but it's a timeless classic for those who can pull it off. It exudes a certain air of sophistication when matched with the corresponding attire.

For me, I prefer cutting my hair off like most bald but not completely cut. Also, the reason for that is because I prefer a fresh cut before my hair grows back eventually! Lol 😆😅👌🏼
