I am DONE with Chanel. I went to the HARRODS boutique today and it was dignity-stripping. While I was looking at the costume jewelry trays along with another lovely young Asian woman, she was taking some pictures for her friend. Then the SA suddenly raised her voice and yelled at her “I told you 3 times to not take pictures! Get out of the boutique, you’re not allowed to buy anything!!!”. That poor woman nearly started crying, didn’t understand English so well, asked “what?” and said sorry many times over again. I was paralyzed. I don’t care about their new nonsensical company policy, this is not how you enforce your stupid rules. Then I attempted to purchase the earrings I liked and I was NOT ALLOWED to purchase them. The SA told me that I had purchased two pairs in the last 2 months already (both of which were presents for my mom) and couldn’t buy any more costume jewelry. I was very startled and asked if there was any way I could still purchase it. I offered to do it through my mother’s account. Then the SA (which was a different one from the one who kicked the lady out) raised her voice at me, everyone stared, and yelled “DO YOU WANT ME TO BREAK CHANEL RULES FOR yOu?!”. I was absolutely appalled. I will never purchase from this brand EVER again. It used to be my favorite and my mother and I have spent 50.000£ on this brand over the years. I’m not a masochist and I refuse to see other customers degraded in my presence. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I made an official complaint with HARRODS customer service and they will forward it to Chanel’s HARRODS manager. I’m not crawling on all fours and begging for anyone’s permission.

The problem is that apparently their CC manager at Harrods is terrible, allegedly. I have heard really bad stories about her. Not sure if they replaced her by now but if they haven’t, then thats the manager that threatened Romina to report her to head office for filming in the boutique. Appalling and unprofessional behavior on their end, to yell at customers out loud like that, embarrassing them in front of everybody else. How rude. I would personally never support harrods chanel. They first need to humble themselves, apologize to many people and clients and change their management. This is just my personal opinion, and only based on the bad experience stories I have heard over and over again about their Harrods shop. Having said that, not all their shops are the same. Some have wonderful staff too. 💖

ME TOO! I comment on Romanian’s video a few months ago saying that the SA’s - my usual SA up in ready to wear in Harrods is lovely and they all seem to be much nicer than the ones downstairs in accessories….. I was there on Tuesday this week and my GOODNESS! They were vile, both accessories and ready to wear (not my usual SA). Ready to wear honestly looked like she would spit at me and was disgusted by my presence and that I was asking to see things, muttering under her breath, telling me the wrong names and sizes for things which I knew! All so awful awful awful! I used to try to buy my big purchases from Harrods because of their loyalty points system and my membership 10% off days but not now. I went over the road to LV on Sloane where I have THE most amazing SA, and spent my money there instead on a very special mini capucines from the stardust collection.

I wonder with the green clutch with chain (crystal encrusted) if they are in fact stitched - I think it may be. I have one bedazzled mini flap bag in velvet from metiers and I was advised the crystals were sown in and for the price I would hope so!!! I had the same concerns about wear but I trust my SA that they are sown and therefore move with the fabric and underlying structure which itself is stitched into the velvet quilts. I am thinking those crystals are stitched I can’t see them being glued would be any solution given they are quite hefty and it’s straight onto leather. The relative stiffness of leather and it’s flex wouldn’t support glued on hefty crystals for long - maybe ask your SA and let us know! This was so interesting and I love too many things - I am in love with Chanel bucket bags and have put in an EOI for the caviar bucket from your other video and this caviar WOC. And that pink in 255 is so divine….. but it’s not a colour I would wear outside and would only hide it inside my bag so kind of not worth it to me. So many great things this season I’m excited to see what you and others get. It’s just all so lovely! And the foldable jewellery case is yours.

Dark Pink on the 2.55 is a dream but I see how its not for everybody. I am not sure about the crystals on the green bag. My boutique might not have ordered one so I am probably not going to be able to inspect them properly but from the pictures alone, they seem glued on to me… but I hope I am wrong… 💖🌈🌅

@@SuperDacob Hear you on the jewellery box, it’s too much in more ways than one. It’s beauty seems to be in its construction when open and it’s elaborate pointlessness. Not sure it looks beautiful closed up - it’s more what’s inside that counts. Maybe it’s a metaphorical piece! 😂I’ll ask my SA if they are getting the green bedazzler and see what she knows about it’s construction - I wouldn’t buy it, too bling for me but I’m just super curious about how these things are made. I’m glad I didn’t see any bedazzled or bejewelled 2.55s in this collection, really don’t like that when they add random extras - some look like leftovers and the overall effect is not cohesive. The only Chanel I have with crystals is objectively similarly offensive to some tastes but the crystals are so beautifully coloured, cut and placed that it just catches the light at every angle and you can see that bag from the moon! To make it particularly offensive it graduates from deep amber to deep gold to bright gold. I have only taken it out once to the ballet and even under low lights it was so sparkly I had to hide it a bit under my mu - mu (lucky wearing the voluminous silk one from cruise last year - glorious floating tent of a thing). I often question whether I even like or love that bag until I unwrap it and a, blown away and fall in love with it all over again! Being velvet as well it’s hard not to love 💕 Thanks again super fun video as always with lots of co-chatter!

Yay you also covered the SLGs (brilliantly I might add). Yes what is with the SNAP for the reissue wallet? Like c'mon Chanel. I love the Victorian era lipstick case it is just such a moment. The fact that they have smaller Wallet on Chains now is just baffling to me, like isn't the Wallet on Chain tiny enough lol. But Virginie knows what sells and you can't fault her for that. Although many will say that mini bags and micro bags are on their way out of fashion they are still selling like hotcakes.

That “centipede” unfolding bag has been directly copied from a fabric one that was shown many years ago on QVC or HSN television. It was meant to be a travel jewelry/cosmetic case if I’m not mistaken. I’m wondering if anyone else remembers this design. It’s NOT an original.

5:05 this my dear is a mini wallet on chain, that was previously released around January 202q. It is the same concept, but with the reissue model. The mini wallet on chain was 2300 usd plus tax ($2500) back then... so this is a 500 usd price increase.
