I now use the Prince CTS Oversize Approach from 88. I am USPTA pro and have tried hundreds of racquets. The CTS models have a thick rubber grip over the handle which dampens shocks immensely. This is the only oversized racquet I could even play with.

Yes. Andy, please do the test of Yonex Ezone Tour 98 2022 available for the public. I have been using Your beloved Ezone DR 98 for a long time too. Then switched to Ezone 100 2020 and now I use Ezone 98 Tour 2022 which is great and very similar to DR 98, although maybe little bit more muted. Andy, Your reviews on TW were always spot on and Your opinion was the most trustworthy from all the playtesters for me and not only me. Please, let us know Your opinion on the Ezone 98 Tour 2022 somewhere on KZbin🙂

I just got the Pure Aero VS a couple weeks ago. I'm still kind of new and learning but I like it better than the regular Pure Aero. Now that the new line is out, I'm hoping they will mark them down so I can buy another =)

So many racquets. Who has time to demo them? And there might not even be a demo available when you go into the store. And the demo will have different strings and grip sizes than your regular racquet. This is probably why I've been playing with just two different racquets over last 10 years.

They removed the Countervail technology in the new V13 version. It was supposed to act in a dampening way but many players didn't like it because they lost feel.

Any polyester. If polyester is causing arm injuries many polyester strings have softer variants available. Another alternative, which I prefer, is stringing a hybrid set up which you use half polyester and half of a softer/more forgiving string such as multifilament, synthetic gut, or natural gut which will give you more power, and forgiveness on your arm.

Mine came in about 5 grams heavier than advertised, and I was really happy about it. Spin has been unreal for me, but probably 10% too much power for my game. I seriously have loved it tho

Can we talk about older racket vs newer racket. Older racket for example Jack Kramer / pro staff midplus racket from those era type of racket compare to these newer type of racket. I know skills will beat any players but if all the skills are equally good. Will improved newer racket beat the older racket in feel and power. Or is it just every year new tech racket you just have to try and buy for the consumers. Just like a phone.

Get a Pro Stock racket instead of all these craps. Every new modern incoming Rackets Suck. They are MUTED, no Feel, no POP, too Soft, too light. Best rackets were Wilson BLX line, Pro Staff Red/Black 2015, Head Liquidmetal, Prince Graphite.

Pro Staffs have been fading from the general public. The people who use them are mostly Roger fans and who is fine with a racket that weighs the same as a skyscraper. If you get the chance, demo it; It is too heavy for basically any player (if u want ur arm, maybe go w/ smth lighter).
