The narrator, David Timson, has an ideal voice for this story. Really kept me engrossed to the end. The plot is good, but what impresses me most is the quality of Conan Doyle’s writing. Beautiful prose!

Absolutely loved this, I'd forgotten how good radio/audio is, really got my imagination working. I particularly liked the musical interlude between chapters allowing me to put it on hold until the next night, bit much to listen to in one go. Thanks for the upload.

Can’t place the narrator. There’s upwards of 50 audiobooks, with narrators of varying levels of suitability. The version read by the model Imam, I did not sample. This one has a touch of Leonard Rossiter to my ear but I wouldn’t wager on it.
