plot twist: the existence of the emperor was disrupting the reality. That's why the voices of the characters were so bad. after the emperor was defeated the effect disappeared so the voice was finally normal.

Gary has the best voice acting overall. It's mostly due to the fact that he was probably the only experienced voice actor (he voices Tail). I assume most of the VA's had no context to what was going on in their lines. Because even Gary has some funny deliveries in certain parts. Like when he encounters the tower and pretty much whispers, "What is it?".

Not even close. Emperor's explosion is like a supernova exploding in outer space. Wheel of Fate is just more realistic and had louder explosions just because Curien was reincarnated as a humanoid scientist.

honestly emperor was actually really cool, not because of his looks or anything, but because of how his orbs that fly around his body can transform into the previous bosses you fought. it serves more of a challenge especially if you arent ready for it.

Ngl, Emperor sucks to be the final boss imo. Using his orbs is literally his attack and defense and doesn't know how to evade fast like Magician did. I like how he shapeshifts previously defeated bosses in the game but what is lacking in Emperor is his instant swift attacks instead of using his orbs. Also, the game says that his weakness is always his heart but in the manual it states that his weakness in unknown. It does not make sense at all, sadly. I'm sorry if I told ya this, but Wheel of Fate deserves to be more in the spotlight than Emperor.
