The slower reload speed on literally every home port feels completely senseless and needlessly brutal. It also completely compromises every home port, light gun or no. Depending on where your DA is at, some boss attacks (specifically Sun's attack where he just stares at you) end up having insanely tight windows. It's extremely unfortunate that they didn't add a true Arcade mode as an unlockable back then. Least we have this mod now.

Agreed. Not sure why those changes were made. Really appreciate whoever took the time to make this Arcade mod, as it really makes the game much more enjoyable to me.

If I remember right, the slower reload made The Fool literally impossible to do hitless.
