Always so sad to see all the family photos wasting away with the property. I always want to gather them all up and put them in a box together. People going in and trashing the p!ace make me so mad, why can't they just going look take pictures and leave without all that throwing stuff around. Thanks for the explore. Lots of stuff.

The “coals” are called Anthracite Nuts, I used to buy them in the 1990’s for our house fires. They are a type of coal mixed with Anthracite (a type of metal) then pressed & formed into large pellets like the ones you saw. They are a bit more expensive than standard coal but they burn slower & longer than standard coal. It is not coke as one person has commented, coke is a lightish grey colour & comes as small misshapen round chunks. My parents had a coke boiler in our kitchen as a child & it’s completely different looking to standard coal & the Anthracite Nuts.

Hello 👋 From USA Georgia 🎉 I love that a married couple is sharing a hobby together 😊. You both are very sweet together its admirable in my opinion. It's strange to me so many places like this in the UK. Of course all over the world are abandoned places of different types of buildings and homes as well but maybe its just more people filming these places in the UK l am not sure. Very sad so many people don't sell these homes after a death of a family member or at least some kind of family or friends don't get the photos at least to have memories . Also the house and furniture, clothes and other items in these places could be given to people in need before the house or stuff rots like this has or sold in some way . I don't understand why this is happening.🥺☹️ In the USA from my experience and family members and friends, coworkers etc we here clean out the house and sell it and keep items or give them away or sell them and most definitely get the pictures of family. I am sure we have homes here as well like this. Hard to believe a person has nobody that cares about anything about them or thier item's but clearly it is happening. I am not understanding the lack of care for people and thier lives and things. Thanks for your time and efforts in filming these videos. I find them interesting and sad at the same time. I do enjoy the time capsules of the homes and a look into thier lives. The mindless idiots that destroy these homes and items inside and have no respect or life goals for themselves but to do this foolishness and steal stuff should go to jail and do community service but I guess its hard to catch these idiots in the process of thier madness.🙄☹️😠😤🤬 Thanks again for your videos 🎉

Hello 👋 It's puzzling isn't it how there's family photo's but no-one around to clear and sell the houses. I'm not sure why that happens at all. We spent a lot of time in the US and actually explored a lot of places that were abandoned, motels, churches, houses, train carriages and almost an entire town that was abandoned too. They're everywhere but I think being in the UK, they're more accessible as everything's fairly close by with it being a tiny island. Thank you so much for your comment and thank you for taking the time to watch! From Clare and Rob 💚

@@silentseekersexplore Thanks for replying 😊 Well from your experience and exploring it appears everywhere has a lot of abandoned places. I guess there may be many reasons places are not sold or cleaned out from family members or companies that buy abandoned places. It is a puzzle for sure. I enjoy your videos and have a great time exploring. 👍😊

You could tell right away that people have trashed the place it's been abandoned for years as it's in a right rotten floors and mould everywhere shame the photos was everywhere someone been sleeping in there as the batteries would of been flat on the clock bit odd the place would of been nice back in the day it's a really shame it's been left to rot and it's got a good bit of land and that ww2 pill box as well 👍

The piece of coal you picked up , l think is coke , it's a residue of coal , more refined . My parents used to burn it on our fire at home , you bought it by the sackful.
@silentseekersexplore5 ай бұрын
Thank you. Someone else did mention that it might be anthracite, a type of metal mixed with coal that burns for longer. I'd have to look into it to know for sure. Thank you for watching! 💚

@@jasonpoesl1529 Smokeless coal was the best , no smoke , no smog . We always had coal fire's when l was growing up, so warm , and much cheaper. You hardly heard of people having asthma then . Thing's were more organic , and all the food was fresh .
@joanmatchett81005 ай бұрын
@@jasonpoesl1529 House coal cannot be burned on a barbecue , barbecue coals are charcoal . Coal contains impurities, coke is a residue and is more refined . Impurities like carbureted hydrogen, naptha and ammonia are removed from coal . Coke is mainly a pure form of carbon . Wood is energy efficient, and quick to ignite , but it doesn't give off as much heat as coal . I hope this helps.
