UNBELIEVABLE FINDS INSIDE THIS ENGLISH MANOR HOUSE!!!

This is our visit to an abandoned and almost derelict manor house in the English countryside. The place was filled with interesting items, antiques and costumes from various films and tv series. The last owner was a famous costume designer who lived alone there till she passed away. From the drone footage you can see that someone has taken the lead off the roof contributing to the houses demise. We didn't have time to explore the whole property but there were at least a dozen different vehicles in the outbuildings like old fire engines, trucks and cars. There's probably some amazing barn finds in there so if we get enough subscribers, we'll go back and make another video of them. I can't even begin to understand the families that inherent these treasures, just leave them behind totally be destroyed! I have a feeling these people were hoarders at the end of living there. What a beautiful manor it would have been back in it's day! 🦘🤨🥴🥰

I think you're right about the hoarding. I'm not even sure if the couple had any children or not but you'd think it would be passed on to someone. Absolute madness!

Its really sad to seen this in this state and makes me wonder as you walked in each room what it would have being like in its glory days. I would love to own a few of the antiques in there its a shame its all just left abandoned

6:48 That’s a tapestry in the frame. Looks to be in reasonable condition. It’s takes a long time to stitch a piece like this but it is not of any great significance unless it is work from a renowned artist. I adore this type of work. I think some highly intelligent people lived in this house by the look of the contents.

This place is insane with so much in it which also makes it hard to film and photogragh, we visited here in May and i think you could revisit here many times and find something differant every time like watching your video theres so much that we missed and you are right in places its impossible despite being as respectful as you can not to step on things on the floor.

We went twice! The first time we didn't realise how dark it would be downstairs and our lights were rubbish so we had to go back. I think this place has had it now though with too many people rifling through stuff and trashing it. The roof is also very dodgy now so won't be long before it's caved in. Did you go to the barn to see the cars? We kinda skipped through that bit and wish we hadn't cos there's some really cool cars, fire engines etc.

I think the most valuable things had already been taken but still some nice items left. I think the lady was living in one room just before she died which makes sense because even we struggled to move around!

I bet someone would play the records, thats a thing from the padt that is coming back. Theres a lot of valuables in this place if you know antiques and things. I bet some of those nice books in the pretty glass door book case would be rare collectibles or out of print and would have some value to a rare book colkector or dealer. I like that blue electric typewriter, it looks like its still invery good condition and would still work.

A lot of hours spent on Google maps. It's a really great tool for finding places.

Well what I do is just look for lots of overgrowth and signs of neglect. You can't go wrong with Google maps and try Google earth which gives you a better view of places.

Explorers are usually reluctant to share locations simply because we never know the real intentions of the person. A lot of locations have been trashed and valuables stolen by so called explorers before so you can understand why really. I wish you all the best and enjoy your exploring, it's addictive! 😃
