@@dae6736 renting still makes a lot of sense as long as you're not looking in a global city like NYC or LAX. We've been splitting rent in Brooklyn for years and we recently bought a home in Atlanta together. This is such a common problem that I can't believe we have to figure this out on our own.

@@bgiv2010renting only “makes sense” within the rules of our current capitalist system, but once something like CO-OPs become more obtainable, it’s easy to see renting for what it is, an unnecessary profiteering middleman living off your hard earned savings.
