Nobody can blame Espada. The bullpen gave us 15 losses and Jose Abreu + injured starters gave us the rest of our losses

Espada had a terrible batting lineup at the beginning of the season. That was a big factor in all those losses. So yes Espada is responsible since he is the one that makes the batting lineup.

Jose Abreu doesn't need to come back i remember when he first got to Houston and he put a jinx on the team with the i cant see the ball in MMP and they couldn't win at home i can't believe that they really want to bring him back he has been horrible leave him in Florida

They’re all trying to develop a change up, including Javier.. Give it time.. If he and Framber can master the change up, they’re gonna be much more effective in the long run..

I worked with a construction foreman who was the best I've worked with in 20 years. But his mind wasn't consistently 'there'. He got free rent in my guest house and was my highest paid employee. But when he 'checked out' on a job it was detrimental to my whole company/ team. 2+ years on I let him go. I invested tons in this young man. But I figured, that there is nothing I can do about getting my investment in his future back, but there is something I can do about not giving anymore of my hard earned money and effort away on an unreliable person. Cut bait with Abreu after a reasonable amount of chances. One 2-3 game series, then evaluate.

I want to compare framber and javier. When framber was good 2022 sinker was 95-97 mph now he throws mostly 90-93 been getting hit alot more over the last year and a half. Javier is the same thing very inconsistent has no control. When we first saw javier he threw I believe between 94-96 on his fast ball. Now he is most 90-92 both players have slowed down over the last few years and are getting hit alot.

Javier stands a better chance of overcoming his woes than Framber will. Might as well trade Valdez and Abreu for some high-end prospects. Something good CAN come out of this.

Honestly bringing Abreu back would be a mistake, Singleton has been great for us. Its like they're trying to fix something that isn't broke. Abreu has not done anything to help this team but its not just him our pitching is horrible Framber has gone down hill ever since we won the World Series, Brown just sucks, and whoever thought that he was the next JV obviously knows nothing about baseball, Verlander is old and has fallen off big time and has just a few flashes here and there not enough for him to be an ace anymore, Javier is as bad as Framber, then you have Abreu and Pressly who are just as worthless. Someone has to take notice and do something bc if they're wanting to be contenders again and win another World Series somethings gotta give and favoritism isn't going to get you anywhere

Don’t need Jose back we are doing well without him so why do we need him ? No one in MLB will trade for him so let him go and whoever made that decision to bring him to Astros get rid of those personal as well 😅

I don’t trust javier, framber or abreu. I mean are they even good anymore?? I really don’t think so. We keep saying “we know how good they can be” and it’s like when was the last time they were “as good as they can be”, it’s been a good while since they’ve been good. I just don’t see it in them anymore and I have no faith in this pitching staff whatsoever. Who the hell can you trust at this point? We shouldn’t be this tight with an angels team that doesn’t have trout or ohtani anymore.
