Going into Friday nights play the Houston Rockets are currently in 3rd place in the highly competitive Western Conference. With a record of 11-5, the Rockets look like one of the biggest surprises of this young NBA season.
Now the rumor mill has been churning that the Rockets may trade for Jimmy Butler or Giannis, but in my opinion I hate to see them break up the youth movement they have on the team. Plus, what they really need is a veteran back-up point guard.

We have Fred Van Vleet, Amen Thompson, Aaron Holiday and Reed Sheppard … we don’t need another point guard… we are 3 deep pretty much at each position… the only thing we can use is a superstar and there really aren’t any available… if Giannis was made available, that would be a huge move that we could make… but I don’t the Bucks would trade him… maybe someone becomes available later in the year, but I don’t see it happening… we might as well continue developing our players and maybe next year

Once fvv and jalen get their percentages up and once Sheppard lets it fly with confidence it’s gonna open up so much more offensively 🤘 top 5 offense and defense by the end of the year..oh and cam is the best player in the g league..once he improves his body language gets his team ball IQ up he’s gonna be a massive difference maker

Thank you for this video. You are very clever at basketball and your suggestions to improve the team, made sense to me. One of my favorite parts, was your recommendations to get Sheppard unlock. I think in fact is a matter of he getting reps. I saw other rookies like Knecht struggle it their shoot at the beginning but still get 20+ 25+ minutes and it paid off. Rockets have to do the same thing.

possible trade: reed shepperd, steven adams, cam whitmore for tre mann, grant williams, v. vicic and at least 1st round pic from the hornets. Mann has some star potential and could be closer.. Williams spaces the floor and aquire some 1st round picks for a future blockbuster deal.

I can tell you don’t watch A LOT of rockets, not that you have to, but you were off on a couple of things. Cam wasn’t playing great and unless there’s an injury he’s best in the g league where he’s been the last week or two. Also Sheppard is actually getting a decent amount of run, he just hasn’t gotten his confidence yet. He’s hesitant to shoot, I think he’s still adjusting to the speed of the nba.
