My name is Chloe, I am 16 years old and I stitch with my Nana, we watch you ladies together like today. (This is Nana’s KZbin site, just in case you are wondering. 😊) My Nana and I have learned to cross stitch together and we sit and spend one afternoon a month and talk and stitch. (Drives my grandpa crazy). I am in high school and am very busy with school, cheerleading and softball so sometimes I do not get the chance to stitch as much as I would like to but my favorite way to stitch, other than next to Nana is to put on my headphones and listen to a book. I really enjoy watching both of you and really love Charlie, he is so CUTE!!!!!. Grandpa says I have an old soul because I really like to crochet and cross stitch but would like to see some ideas based around us younger stitchers, if there is such a thing, but would like to do a piece with little things that relate to things I have done, places I have been etc. Deb I know you have your piece you are working on, but where did the idea come from and how did you plan it out. I am both so happy for you, Chloe, and jealous of your closeness with your Nana. My Nana lived in the UP while I grew up in South Texas. I'm 50, so you know I grew up pre video-calls, internet, and all that. You, or you and your Nana, should start a KZbin channel. You could bring in the younger folk and y'all could share ideas based on the teenage interests.

I love this! I spent so much time with my Nana as well. When I was in my 20's, I had Wednesdays off of work and would pick her up every week. We would do crafts together (mostly crocheting), go shopping, play cards or other games, and so much more. Those days are some of my most fondest memories and I think of that time often. Yesterday would have been her 104th birthday. She's been gone 27 years but I still miss her.

This warmed my heart! I was very very close to my great grandmother. What I wouldn't give to sit next to her stitching and visiting. I lost her 8 years ago. I am 44 and get teased and criticized for my "old lady personality " but if you ask me the world needs more stitchers . More crafters and women who love to cook, clean and care for their families. So you just keep enjoying your stitching and love on your Nana as much as you can!

Hi Ladies! I love your videoes so much. The two of you are so good together. I have not missed one yet. I am not under 45, (69) but maybe I could pretend? Deb, I am so glad that you mentioned that we should cover our magnifiers. I heard stories about sunlight causing fires or smoldering on other videos . I mentioned it to my neighbor who is a volunteer fireman but he refuses to believe it. He says it is impossible to happen. I guess he does not know as much as he thinks he does. It is even more likely here in Arizona because our temps get so high. If you don'thave a cover, use an old sock. Works fine. Take care everyone.❤
