I’m not a huge Howard fan anymore. Just because his show isn’t as entertaining anymore. But your comment just seems like a dated joke that young people make about old people. Even though the guy isn’t as wild of an interviewer anymore it’s clear as day that he is still an incredible interviewer in the way that he engages. It’s basically his voice to sum it up. If this was Howard in his prime, when he was great, half the interview would have been him asking Charli about her boobs, and it would have been more in depth as well. He always got people to open up on his show, even when he was playing the perv. And it was an act. A much better act than this. They put it down to “you’re just a wreck head then” your like a “weed or cigarette smoking don’t give a f*ck” but it’s not that, we just don’t feel the need to be all about names and brands which is ironic considering Charlie has created such a huge brand with her work lol! But that’s when the art should be seen instead, it’s a reflection of us, a reflection of our capitalist addictions… ok… sit down kid before you join the video essay gang. Breathe.
