@@MichaelMJD So first my plane's software started glitching out, in typical MJD fashion, but luckily I had a back up drive in my carry-on. However, the darn thing just wouldn't install! We ended up having to use an Ethernet cable, by throwing it to the ground. It must've been my lucky day though, because it landed perfectly into Boeing's server's port and we were able to download a new copy of the plane's software right from the sky!

In fact, without selecting X3100 driver from the installer, the GPU is working because there’s some transparency in some UI elements such as the menu bar. This means that Quartz Extreme and CoreImage are working, and both of them rely on a GPU with hardware acceleration enabled.

Microsoft Sa- Michael has become the ultimate rebel: 1. Installs Mac on a PC. 2. Uses iWork instead of Office. 3. Uses no password. 4. Modifies Mac about screen because he could. 5. Admits it's fun to use Mac software. 6. Makes a Microsoft Reversi reference while installing Mac OS 7. Will be moving his cyber self from the basement of Microsoft HQ to California for mysterious reasons (Apple invasion maybe - this was to learn their software). Tip for whenever you decide to install non-laptop os's on a laptop (or any computer at all without sound drivers but with USB drivers) just get USB speakers and the sound will work like a dream.

Believe it or not there was a Hackintosh driver for the fingerprint scanner on these HPs floating around back in the old days. You would place your finger on it while you were at the Leopard's login screen and it would log in, years before Touch ID was implemented....

I installed a version of hackintosh 10.5.2 on my Dell Inspiron E1505 in 2010 everything worked flawlessly looking at my photo albums from it I used Kalyway OS X 10.5.2 and it had a ton more driver options.
