I've said this before, but it's worth repeating...you guys are a class act. For starters, Jonathan, stepping out of the car, for the most part, to do the video thing, promote your "brand", and your little brothers career is just awesome. Jesse, you catch hell, but you're always there, working your butt off, doing whatever needs to be done. And Joseph, you're a hard worker,, from what we've seen a good husband, and I have no doubt you'll be a good father, and a half way decent driver. LOL!!! You guys keep doing what you do. Racing is a fickle sport, and it doesn't "owe" anybody anything, but you guys deserve everything that comes you way. Glad I found your channel, and more importantly, as the flagman at Callahan Speedway (where Joshua raced), I see a lot of kids with HTF hats, shirts, and such...I'm glad these young racers have some positive role models to look up to, on the track and off. MasterSbilt will always be close to my heart. We went from a Regal to a wedge car, and into a brand new MasterSbilt in 86. Had a lot of fun up till 92. I can’t help but cheer on the MasterSbilt cars. I grew up in a day where there was 10 CjRayburns for every MasterSbilt. Raced a lot against CJ in the Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, tri-state. Great memories.

That's cool, having the footage of all that drove it since coming into yer shop. Memories, that's important. Progression is a must, and that you are doing. Good that it's going to a local guy and it makes him happy ... and why not, it's a proven car!!! Regroup, plan, reassess, plan some more --- OPTIONS. I'm sure whatever the decisions are or what falls into place will be just fine. Always wishing the best to each and all of ya. It makes more sense to let Joseph race a new Capitol as the Super Late and give the old Super with a 604 in it to Jesse.

Jonathan is getting Joseph’s car, Jesse is getting Jonathan’s car and they will get a newer capital for Jo Jo with the Super late model engine

@@T-N-TRacing Agree.....Jonathans/Joseph's crate late model 604 has shown to be a winner this year......Don't touch a winner......Keep the variables down to a minimum IMO....I think they are going with a 602 in the old Super for Jesse.....I agree......604 for Jesse the following year......One more year of not having Jesse and Joseph race again in the same race would be best for the long term survival of HTF Heck, it was not even Jesse's fault when he and Joseph crashed and yet that became part of the standard harassment toward Jesse......Even in jest, NOT GOOD.......Threatens HTF's long term survivability......This threesome's chemistry is critical to the show.....Shadow is right.......Don't take a chance at ruining Joseph and Jesse's friendship due to another "on track" incident......One more year and then let Jesse and Joseph race together in the 604s

The Milton Mud Missile is going to start racing Big Block and 358 mods. Bicknell is going to be the chassis with a rubber floor/driver back, tall cage, and hockey stick floor, short/long bar bracket option.

Jesse: When the third car arrives, I would suggest focusing on making sure that the right front set up is working well.....Don't let Joseph have his shock back LOL.....my theory is the right front has been too stiff (Joseph could not make it move while bouncing on the bumper) causing the front to push on initial turn in to the corner.....to compensate and keep it from pushing, Jessie whips it HARD to make sure (with the braking) the back end will come around (not push).....so he turns the steering wheel A LOT (unlike the top drivers like Joseph and Bo because they have their right front set up/shock done right and therefore don't push on entry) and then Jesse is playing catch up during the initial correction (busy hands)......then in the middle of the turn, it starts to push again (Cameron mentioned that if the right front is not right, one will push thru the middle of the corner) and so Jessie turns hard left again to get it back into a slide so he can power slide thru the the rest of the turn......busy hands......As Joseph said to Jonathan once before a race, "it all comes down to not pushing (the front end)".....Jesse even said his best race so far was his last one where Joseph put on one of his back up shocks......Hope you guys are keeping notes on Joseph's set ups, each track and finish.....Jesse should have the same right front set up that Joseph has(d)......As Jesse said, I could make the car do what I wanted it to do......Might even slow his hands down......Jesse does not have busy hands when he is iracing.......If my theory is correct and this has been an issue all season, Jesse deserves even more credit for getting good results in a car that did not want to turn on corner entry.....Food for thought. Really liked some of the old video edited into this main video......Pertained to the topic.....short and sweet.....gives us history......more work.....very good - thx.....Great job guys!!

Have 2 Supers for Joseph to run with the Lucas oil series and the third car be for Jonathan and Jesse to play on off weekends. Good luck HTF in 2021

While they certainly have more funding to allow them to branch out more, I still don't think they quite have the budget to compete full-time on a national series level. Not saying they couldn't compete with the right backing, just don't think they're there yet.

I agree with some comments that Jessie should probably get into B-Modified or a super stock not taking anything away from him but sometimes you can move up to fast, this comment is for you Jessie don't try and get ahead of yourself with what experience you have give yourself time and when the time is right and your more comfortable then make a move up believe me you'll feel more confident, those divisions I mentioned believe me there's alot of competition in it. Tennison: He seems more self conscious of the camera lately....Like everyone else, it can make him look bad so he pulls in and looks down.....I would suggest using the camera with the tripod (maybe even positioned a little out of sight) and then engage him like you would do when no one is videoing.......I would not engage him with the hand held camera for a while. It makes him self conscious.......Only make him look good....Maybe let him do some of the videoing so he is out of the view of the camera.....Kids can be magic on video......Got to find a way to get him back into the videos without making him uncomfortable.....Think long term.....The video where Tennison moved the GoPro so the audience could see his new trailer was magic! Many magical moments in that video!! Use that as your model.

My friend that ran Late Models would use some foreign starter. His grandpa would take them apart and change something on them. They did this to quite a few and would sell some at the track. I forget what they used. Maybe it was Bosch. The point of it was they could get them for slightly over $100 make a couple bucks off of them and still save Late Model drivers money.

hey we were having similar issues with firing the engine we went thru 3 different starters trying to figure it out it ended up being the idler gear and shaft in the bell housing was wore out when the start engaged it would put it in a bind and drag down the starter. we now have 3 new starters to take with us lol

I was watching a old video it's was titled dirt daddy returns and Johnathan takes charge and if you watch right before dirt daddy gets in the car to go out for pre feature hot laps you can see dirt momma hand him the raceiver with the silver ear bud that had black tape on it and that's where the broken off ear bud you found in the cockpit came from when takin out Jesse's seat... mystery solved 2 years later lol

3rd Car: My vote is a Capital 602......I would suggest Joseph and the Capital guy (Richard?) does the basic set up on all the cars at the beginning of the new season.....Gives you a baseline to return to when you get lost on set up......Joseph should share his set up knowledge with Jessie and Jonathan off camera and privately (no one else)(maybe get Capital's OK).......Jessie should focus on giving Joseph accurate and easily understood feedback on what the car is doing......Not solutions. Let Joseph do that......Joseph makes the final call on set ups.........Jessie should be a sponge.......watching and learning and driving......Jessie, I would suggest another year of apprenticeship......Whatever Joseph does at the races this year, do the exact same thing.....You can develop your own style later when you have more experience.
