I'm a big fan of The Hu. These guys have been to uni to get degrees in Mongolian classical music. They were already Mongolian cultural treasures BEFORE they decided to go mad and invent Mongolian Metal. And you should have looked at the video with the lyrics. Basically, it's about how The Hu ( the people of the Great Khan) will fight you until you die a horrible death. No retreat, no surrender. You want a fight to the death? Well come and get it! Go read the lyrics! The Hu's music will put hair on Travis's head.

@@streetready9748 they speak Mongol natively, they went to uni to learn both western and Mongol classical musics. Jaya's actually a highly awarded conservatory flute professor when he's not doing the Hu gig. So yeah, they're seriously professional instruments. Remember: China didn't build The Great Wall as decorative piece, religious monument: IT WAS BUILT TO DEFEND CHINESE FROM THE MONGOLIANS under the leadership of GHINGHIS KHAN. Mongolian throat singing is called Karkyraa and Khoomei . It's done more using the throat and vocals chords and it's much more difficult than "fry vocals" because the demand it's constant. That horse head instrument is called Morin Khuur ( horse head fiddle) . Next one, like a "guitar on steroids" is called Tovshuur (Mongolian traditional guitar). The Hu said they are created new genre then they called that Hunnu rock.

The instruments in use here are traditional Mongolian instruments. The Horse-head fiddle is the only musical instruments ever awarded World Heritage status as a Cultural Icon. It is called a Mohin Khuur. There is a bass version called an Ihk Khuur. The guitar like instrument is a long necked 3 string lute called a Tovshuur. All members of the band hold Master of Music degrees. There are four fulltime members in the band, and four part time members. The 'bikers' are actually a choir. HU is Mongolian for 'HUman'. They are Covid stranded in Sydney, Australia atm. Very nice people.

The word Hu comes from their word for Human. They are Their instrument are build on old traditional style with some small changes. The stings are from horses. If you check out some of there other videos you can hear them make the sound of horses. They have a album out that's called Gereg. That was what the great Gingiis Kahn called the diplomatic pass that he gave a messenger so that he easy could pass over one border to the next country that now Kahn ruled. Their are videos with English text to all there songs. My body is broken I walk with two crutches. But twice I traveled back and forth almost 900 km to see them.
