a little hint as you take on such a HUGE project: A truck is good for hauling 'stuff', but the most useful tool you'll find is a good utility trailer. It is so much easier to load and unload a trailer than a truck bed........GOOD LUCK on this adventure!!!

If you jog west 500-800 meters there is a small area with free parking near you 😉 It is surrounded by paid parking so it is a hidden gem once you locate it. It has a great view of all the sailboats. MEO has good coverage but varies a little by region with who is the best provider.

Glad that in the end everything was resolved and you are already the happy owners of this Nissan Navarra. Usually the purchase process is not complicated, and the advice that yourselves have already tried is to double check everything before signing. In your specific case, I think that the confusion was really the tax address, it is something usually requires the purchase process, witch in your case could perfectly be the address of the water mill. The important thing is that everything has been resolved and we will move on to the next challenge. 💪💛💛

Congrats and good luck with your Navarra. I owned a 2007 Frontier 4x4 for 13 years in the U.S. and put 205,000 miles on it without any serious problems. Hopefully, yours will serve you well.

I would never buy a truck in Portugal for the sole reason you go everywhere and anywhere on motorway and a truck is class 2 Toll (extremely expensive). So it is a big no no!!! Look for some class 1 trucks, smaller and lower wheel base but it will save you loads of money.

It does add a bit of costs being a Class 2 but we don't take toll on the regular a lot so it's not a huge deal. We have been very surprised that the truck uses 9liters to 100km. This is amazing considering what truck in the USA get.

Yeah, but they need a 4 wheel and a robust truck that can be really useful to carry building materials.

So great everything is working out for you. It is a good tip for anyone to take care and take the time to check all the paperwork in any of the transactions , not just with a vehicle. It is easy to miss something due to the time and language differences. But the people here are wonderful which makes it all worth it. ❤

Hey guys!!! It´s much more easy and simple to learn portuguese from Brasil than from Portugal. Portuguese is too complicated and even for us for the Portuguese people is very hard. Check how many Portuguese kids fail in Portuguese lesson. Congratulaions for your work and specially for your choice, Portugal is simple the best and we the Portuguese people are also simple the best. If you need anything that i can help don´t hesitate. Don´t work to hard in the coming months, take a brake, visit the norht to relax and pls inform us, have some serious secret spots around my area. Boa sorte na vossa magnifica aventura.
