I was on Adams Ave. heading onto 31st street in Temple when the sirens went off, the first place we thought of that would be the safest, and quickest, to get to was the Temple Public Library basement parking area, since it didn't act like a wind tunnel, and had a little notch for the doors so it would interrupt wind flow. The damage over at West Temple is severe though, and power over in Scott & White ER has no power.

I am in Temple, TX. That storm was wild here. Ripped off the roof of the apartment buildings across the street from me. Flipped a bunch of semi trucks and trailers. Lots of hail/wind damage.

Caught the tail end of the stream. We had tornado damage a couple hours north of Toronto, Canada happen earlier today. Tonight, widespread warning sent out that included Toronto which crashed the weather app radar immediately. Got it working elsewhere…looks like another pass is happening again north of Toronto by 50-100 kms. Toronto doesn’t tend to get strong tornadoes as it and immediate areas around it are protected by a 300 km-long moraine ridge. The stronger ones tend to cross into Ontario between lakes Huron and Erie, cutting north-east. Worst tornado in this area hit in the ‘80s in the City of Barrie.
