@@ravimaha I met them when they were in concert in London in 2008. Got photos, autographs etc. I made a ymo shirt like in there early concerts from 70s/80s and some Japanese people took my photo. One wound up in a book. Been out over 10 years and I didn't even realise. My jpop supplier managed to get me the book earlier this year. Fan of Tomita too if you like electronic classical. He died a few years ago.

So far ahead of its time this song. Yet this has always happened. People feel like they truly are being boiled due to external pressures that they cannot control. All we can control is ourselves. Keep civil, keep the faith. Ultimately believe in human nature. That it will rectify itself for the greater good for us all.

I’d never correct someone’s interpretation of a song as music has a unique and powerful meaning to everyone, but apparently this song was written about silk production in which silk worm cocoons are boiled with the silk worm still inside which has been criticised by many as cruel

I suspect you may well be right about that. Certainly surprised me when I finally got around to looking up what "sericulture" was ... and then the song made sense. Buddha would not approve.
