Except it is the reverse. Human Torch is Magneto, having full control of fire and heat while Pyro is Wolverine, having limited control over fire to the point where he needs an actual source of fire to even use his powers. Torch lost for the sake of a joke, he otherwise should be way stronger considering he can create his own fire and burn as hot as a sun.

Except it should be the opposite. Pyro simply can manipulate fire, Johnny can do that and more. A more apt comparison is Pyro is like Colossus, he turns himself to metal but doesn't have complete control over metal like Pyro with fire while Johnny is like Magneto, he has complete control over fire and heat, basically being god like if he used his powers to their fullest. In all honesty, Johnny should dominate, essentially being a walking sun that can go super nova, but he was used for a Chris Evans joke and had to die quickly so he didn't use the budget. It is a mismatch.. but the reverse and Pyro would get stomped normally.

Wow, the Fantastic Four really haven't had the best of luck in the last few decades. As if it wasn't enough to have two questionable movies and a reboot that everyone would rather forget existed, two of their main members were brutally killed off in horrific ways in the MCU. I just hope that next year's Fantastic Four movie finally gives the team the justice they deserve it.
