When you consider that cruise ships can use 105 gallons in a mile, I'd say they play a big part in it too. Also, there are more cars that use more gas than a Hummer H1 does.

my 06 h3 has the optional rear locker and it makes all the difference when pushing thru mud 40" deep... love this vechile will never buy another jeep...well maybe a wrangler to beat around in but in overall 4x4 situations and vechile comfront and style the Hummer is none to others the BEST out there!!!

I love these cars they are truly amazing and great looking four wheel drives all 3 of them. I’ve owned a H2 which I must say is by far the most comfortable capable four wheel drive on and off road. I have my pride and joy which has taken me 10 years to build so it’s a reliable truck and that’s my 97 hummer H1 civilian version. Words of advice if your ever going to get a hummer the H2 is very capable

And is the most comfortable of all 3. Now of you want a H1 make sure you get either the newer GEP Improved engine block or the best engine is the P400 it’s the strongest built 6.5l engine and with a few upgrades you can easily get 350 horse power the same as the Alpha. Get rid of the electric db4 injection fuel pump and replace it with a DB2 mechanical injection pump and you’ve got one of the best four wheel drives in the planet that you will have no problems getting parts for or if you’ve got the money put in a refurbished Cummins engine. Thier is no other 4x4 in the world that comes close to the hummer. If your in the states get your work done by Predator and tell them Grant C sent you thier these guys are the best of the best remember you pay for what services you get and they are at the top of the range so get it done once get it done right . Good luck with your hummer journey sometime you want to cry but most of the time your the king of the road and off the road knowing you and your family are in the safest car / truck ever built for civilians thanks to big Arnie

They don’t use any more gas than the average V8 Ute or truck mine get 15 litres per 100km so that’s nothing bad about that and can run on oil if needed . These battery operated cars are far worse for the environment than most people are aware of in many ways think of the processes for production and then the waste that isn’t recycled when the battery life runs out the are a very bad chemical hazard to our Mother Earth once you burn fossil fuel that’s it it’s gone once burn a battery it’s here for another few 1000 years

I own a 2006 H3.The bit about it being hard to park is wrong.With a turning radius that can only be outdone by a Mini Cooper I find mine very easy to park in tight spaces.The only downside is the rear visibility.

H2 weighs more than 2.9 tons. More like 3.25 tons. Wish I could get an H1 someday. I'll settle for my H2. I don't have a drain plug though, like in the H1 or in the BahHTH! And you have to admit, whether you like them or not, they really are Like Nothing Else.

H2 are a very capable off road truck and very comfortable I’ve owned a 06 H2 great truck I now have a 97 H1 great truck but boy oh boy it’s noisey and no where near as comfortable as the H2 but I must it’s way more tougher is solid steel every where

I have got an H2.. It sure as heck wasn't 55k lol I paid 18 for it. It's a beast when you two stuff you don't even feel it behind you.. But it does cost a lot to drive! Love it though.

the H3 has the same setup as H2 minus the rear air suspension. independent up front and solid axle with leafs at the back. that includes the H3 Alpha.

I bought the 3 a few months back. I really love the H2 but the old interior (2002-2007) just doesn’t hold up anymore. The 2008-2009 interiors are rare. If they weren’t I probably would’ve got the 2

I’ve had both and to be honest the H2 will take you anywhere the H1 will as long as you know how to drive it well and put in heavy suspension and have it raised 3 inches. H1 is stronger over all but H2 way way more comfortable mate . Depends how hard you want to go. Personally I love them both

While I find the Hummer H2 and H3 more attractive, I prefer the H1 for what's underneath, a 6.5 litre diesel engine, 4 wheel independent suspension, military heritage, makes it one bad-ass rig for anyone to drive. I've actually seen an H3 scrap the H1 on Colorado Terrain. The H3 actually pulled out the H1... Both were experienced off roaders, friends of my dads. Since then I never understand why everyone's quick to talk shit on the H3.. It's still a fucking beast

basically it's just a scale of how much off-roading you do. If you're a big off-roader you want the h1. If you never go off the roads you want the h3. If you're in between the h2 is for you

actually if you are interested there is a company in the states that is called predator hummer they do a duramax conversion for the h1 and h2 and it gets a turbo diesel duramax v8 that gets almost 20 mpg. I think its not that bad for that size also their engines are from 450 hp to 800 hp and 1200 ft/lb of torque

not true the H3 Alpha has beaten the 6.0 H2 in every test. it is only out matched by the 6.2 liter H2 and thats only at acceleration. Off Road they are in the same league as the H1 (2008 and up models to be specific.)
