honestly, since I read the book first, I wasn't sad about anyone's death except Rue. I was originally sad about prim death then katniss started being a b1tch to gale so I didn't care anymore. I'm Team ale because I read the book first. For those who have read the book first, you will be Gale fan but for those who watched the movie first, you will be Peeta fan. This is because the movie didn't expand on the depth of katniss gale relationship.

I love the Hunger Games but I think most of the tributes were too old. They're often older than 18 and it would have been cooler if the actors have had the real age as the tributes.

these days people look way younger/way older than they are, so it would be pretty hard to find actors and actresses who fit the descriptions of the characters and are also the same age as the character.

I dont think it's possible to find that many (good) and young actors. Whenever you watch a movie you can be sure that the actors aren't at the same age as their role. That would be really hard, why should someone who can act really well and perfectly embodies the role be rejected just because he's not in the same age? It would take ages to find a good cast.

Teenagers tend to age faster so throughout the course of a couple months of shooting, change would be sure to occur, which would be seen as an inconsistency and therefore it was far easier to cast adults for these roles who happen to be more stable in growth.
