The Hunt 1000 Day 8

Day 8 of 12 riding The Epic HUNT 1000km, An unsupported bicycle journey through the Australian Alps. On this journey, we travel from Melbourne to Canberra through the rooftop of Australia along backcountry trails, across exposed high plains, through snow gum woodlands, and among tall native forests. Today we ride from Mt Hope to Khancoban, come along for the ride!

You know I like making videos but still going 8 days in. Im impressed! I think I would have thrown the cameras in the fire by this stage 😂 Even motivation to fly the drone! Good stuff. More and more i’m considering the Hunt 1000. Cheers!

I almost didn’t take the drone with all the bad weather Vic had leading up to the ride. But worth it in the end for the videos. But over that many days the extra weight on the back was very noticeable up the hills.

@@galaxyontrail I understand 😂 That foggy trip I went on I for some stupid reason took 3 cameras. One was an old DSLR I was planning to chute time lapses with which didn't happen. My pack was so heavy and it really does fatigue you. I'm looking forward to doing a ride with no backpack, I'm not sure it will ever happen though.

ha.. filming takes my mind off the pain sometimes. By day 8 I was feeling much better than on days 2-3.. body kinda gives in and accepts that this is what we are doing today.

Yes I probably should.. though I didn’t take much different to what I did on my vic divide attempt. I do plan on a bit of a wrap up once I get this series finished.
