as far as I know, ignoring villagers doesn’t do much. like 5 of the villagers I talked to everyday asked to move before the one I ignored did. It seems more like random chance.

here's a tip for shaking trees for stuff: Hold a net and shake when you're in the middle of the tree, so when a wasp comes out, your character looks at the nest in shock. While your character looks at it in shock, spam the a button so you catch it immediately. I do this method for every tree everyday so I can sell the wasps/bugs.

I do it at a 45° angle from the front; helped me get "Netting Better" (catch 5 wasps in a row) easily. Whatever feels right and gets you consistent results, go for it.

I keep the wasps and sell them to Flick when he's coming, because it take a bit less time than making tarantulas islands (unless it's the real one, I don't bother anymore), and since it's 5 wasps per day (+ the ones gattered on mystery tour) it makes a nice amount of bells in the end

A tip for shaking trees with wasps in them is to keep moving in the direction they are as soon as the nest falls from the tree. Than you wont shake the tree on accident , 99% of the time :>

If you want a villager to move out, neglecting them doesn't work. In fact that will get them to stay. When your friendship is higher with a villager they are more likely to move out OR it can be completely random. I've had both scenarios happen to me. Alternatively, if you're lucky enough you'll get a cute camper to your campsite. If you talk to them enough they'll want to move in and suggest that someone else wants to move out. If the you don't want the suggested villager to move out, close the game before it can autosave and try again. I've heard complaining to Isabelle about a villager you want to leave right before speaking to the camper makes the camper suggest the villager you complained about wants to move. This worked for me but I've only tried it once so I can't guarantee it actually works.

Marina and Teddy are my favorite villagers and my best friends on island (well, and Flo, she and Teddy were my starting villagers). I felt so bad I missed Marina’s birthday two days ago so I just set my clock back so I could give her a gift at her party, even though that meant that the turnips in my pocket rotted. Oh well, worth it!

I went villager hunting a week ago or so. I found lots of good villagers, but I kept thinking there were better villagers out there so i skipped some good/okay ones i should've invited like Bam, Del, Butch, and Anabelle. You may not like them but i like them a bit :3 I continued villager hunting and found weird ones like Chops ;-; I would take any good villager by then so i encountered Lily! She just moved in yesterday and she's really friendly with my villagers and had a great convo with Muffy :D
