Xavier as a Doomsday Weapon seems reminiscent of the second X-Men movie, when he was used by both Stryker (To kill all mutants .) and then Magneto (To kill all humans.).

I think should know that Charles is planning something to save mutants. Also, I don’t know if anyone has pointed this out but I really like seeing Charles walking around again. Krakoa really made Charles look handsome.

I just don't understand why these writers chose to destroy Professor X. (Well beside current social ideologies). Stories need villians and heros falling and climbing back to redemption make good stories but this in my opinion was not the case. This was more of a planned get elimination of a character. This has been going on for years and I don't think Professor X deserved it. Mystique was a mass murdering terrorist and now is being celebrated and Xavier's dream built the Xmen and now he is worse than Mystique was. I used Mystique as an example but there are many villains I could have used.

I’m not sure what ‘current social ideologies’ have to do with it. Charles has had a ‘dark side’ for decades, with Onslaught being the living embodiment of it. Going back to the start of the Krakoa era, Charles was convinced by Moira the dream never becomes reality and this very specific plan was the best chance at something that resembles the dream. Charles is at this point where he’s become a fallen hero again, but I imagine he’ll rise from it again. The Krakoa-era hasn’t even ended and we haven’t seen where he ends up in all of this and we don’t know where he’s going next.

It's true Charles has had a dark side, but one can also say that all heroes do. As for Onslaught, you are right about Onslaught getting part of his dark side from Charles. But it was also part of Magneto as well. I truly hope you are right about the return to hero part, but in my opinion, I don't see this happening anytime soon. I truly hope I'm wrong. As for current social ideologies, writers have always voiced their opinions in their work since the beginning of time. More so in this day and age it seems more prevalent. In my opinion I just stated it as a common answer mostly given to the question of why the writing of comics in general are perceived gravitating towards a certain perception.

Xavier has been shady for a long time now,keeping all kinds of secrets,even before the krakoa era. Like beast,it's been a long slow decline. I think the writers are just pessimistic tbh.😅

One thing that I have hated about the Krakoa Era is mainly a writing problem. THIS WAS NEVER CHARLES' Dream! HIS dream was ALWAYS mutants and humans living together, not separating themselves. This ENTIRE run has been Genosha 2.0, not "the dream".

But wasn’t it the next best thing? True peace between humans and mutants. Mutants being safe. It’s best for everyone also so humans aren’t at risk from mutants as well. He basically started the arc saying his dream was a lie right?

But what does someone do when they learn they always fail, this a hail mary for Charles he knows time traveling only goes so far and if it was not for her natural ability they would have said that Tagerts flowing through time should have broken it. I think the joke of things was that in the end Mutants always win and that's what the side Nimrod was coming from sending back someone. I don't know if that info ever got leaked to Charles but I think that would have changed his way of thinking if he knew Mutants win in the end.

The funny thing is they had several timelines where Charles wasn't the leader. They fail each time. They're right about one thing the mutants never tried to side with the machine except for Sinister. Is they really kill Charles will they actually keep calm dead?

In that timeline they didn't lose to the machines but they were fighting the techno virus. I'm talking about the one where Moira tried to change the timeline by siding with the Apocalypse. When they did the lives of Moira. Charles was killed way earlier than he was supposed too.

Im not going to go in to details about some people not understanding pre K-era dream and current dream. To be fair the dream is what marvel think is relevamt to the current story as the "Dream" has change or was tweaked a few times. (U can argue that he as a character keeps changing the dream) Now thats over, i think this is great writing IF and ONLY IF we get to see a direct story to this story. Im not talking bout how Kathy is literally on the cover of an X men team story thats coming out. Im talking bout her actually being done no matter the income. Time and time again Marvel Drops the ball or i would say open up so many plot holes and never explaining things. FOR EXAMPLE: Sinister has yet to be Judge from JD The New Celestial has yet to come back to Judge Humanity. I really dont remember them explaining or fully explaining how Kathy traveled through the gates(if so it was a blur) Legion?????? I can go on but im just saying. We know of whats after as far as what marvel is brining out and i beilieve they describing it as stories post K-era. If thats the case, how are we getting from where we are at now, to the next comic lines coming out? Well time to keep watching the breakdowns to find out

it wasn't perfect but considering, they did a more than decent job wrapping up the krakoa age. Even wrongslide etc, they tried and all the writers were more than competent enough. Also it will read a lot better when its all collected from start to finish. I think it will go down as one of the best story arcs/ages of xmen. Its def better than a good portion of lates 2000's/early 2010s era X-men stories.
