I live in a small town there's only 1 coinstar within 30 miles of me but I check all the time that's where I found that w quarter
@SilverHusky124 жыл бұрын
That is nuts! I’ve never found a W in a Coinstar.

Good idea... The management doesn’t bother you when you’re doing this?

Matt Bogart I’ve only been asked what I’m doing once. I said checking to see if I left any change in the machine. Lol

Nice video - I worry sometimes as it seems most of our coinstars are right in the middle of where the associates are working. Do you ever get hassled about digging through them - if so, what do you tell them? Just yesterday, I found my first foreign (Cayman Islands), not old, but nice. I also find a great place to find extra change is the car wash. People leave stacks of quarters they didn't use, or nickels that weren't quarters, or they throw out all kinds of change near the vacuum areas when they are cleaning out the insides of their cars.

Shannon Smith I’ve only gotten stopped once. I told them I think I left my change in the machine. Then I walked away. Hahaha. Sadly we don’t have any coin operated car washes here.

Do employees ever tell you to get out? I always feel a little embarrassed checking the machines, but then again I have found silver before.
@SilverHusky124 жыл бұрын
MoMoneyInc I’ve never been told to leave. Only been asked what I was doing, to which I replied that I was checking to see if I left any change from earlier.

I just sanitzed my phone and took a shower after that little adventure.😳 Be careful reaching under those machines... a rat might confuse your fingers for a chicken wing. I've actually found a few Canadian coins at my local grocery stores machine.

Dumb question here, what are these machines, currency exchange or something ?
@SilverHusky124 жыл бұрын
Nick Bond not a dumb question. People bring the coins that have been piling up in their houses and exchange them for a redeemable receipt for the exact amount minus 10% as a service fee.
@Shawn474 жыл бұрын
I've never seen these machines except in KZbin videos. They must be an American thing.
@SilverHusky124 жыл бұрын
Surely there is some sort of coin exchange machine at the banks in your country, no?
@Shawn474 жыл бұрын
@@SilverHusky12 I'm in Canada. I can't say I've ever needed to bring that many coins to the bank at once, but there are definitely no coin counting machines for customer use.
