I never played Webkinz as a kid but this was still nostalgic since it kinda brought me back to my Neopets days, which aren't even fully over. You may not have won a Magical Retriever but at least you did not say "Maybe the real Magical Retriever was [in our hearts/the friends we made along the way]"

Don’t feel bad ..at least this childhood hobby had a use (the game and such) in the 90s I collected beanie babies and then my mom started and she essentially took most of mine away and put tag protectors on them cuz they were “rare” lol .. then beanie baby trading cards came out and we started buying those .. what an absolute waste of money Dx (almost 30 years later we now have like 10 binders full of individual “rare” but worthless cards and about 12 long large Tupperware totes the size of a human body full of fricken bean bags .. only time we ever “made money” is when we sold libearty righty and lefty the American trio for like $1500 when the craze was hot and they had conventions for em.. now.. waste of space
