This is a very impressive pen. I am looking forward to your review. It is like when I got my Visconti Divina. The packaging is stunning. The quality superb. The attention to detail is over the top. As for Delta, I felt the same way when I opened my Masaai Indigenous People pen. It is unlike any other pen I own and writes phenomenally.

I no longer collect fountain pens so I sold 95% of my collection to Teri at Peyton Street Pens. She was such a pleasure to work with - very honest and transparent. By the, one of pens I still own is the Delta Colosseum (which I purchased in 1996). Congrats on getting your grail pen! And. what a great video! I can't remember the last time I watched anything on KZbin that was 18 minutes long but you had me hooked.

Never have I ever seen you so excited, so quivering with anticipation, so moved. Several times you have talked about pens that were your holy grail, only to move on to another. TO be brought to tears by this Delta is a moving experience for you viewers, too. When the company was in its earlier incarnation I bought this pen, or one much like it, as a gift for my then-spouse, and waited in great excitement for the truck that made the special delivery. I greatly admired the Dolce Vita pens that were on display in the window of Pen Place at Crown Center in Kansas City. I don’t remember if there were two or three sizes, but the largest was definitely a BIG pen, possibly outdoing even the MB 149. They stayed there for some while, and I didn’t ask the price, as I already knew it would be more than I was able to fork over at that time. I’m very happy for you, Vincenzo, that you were able not only to acquire your dream pen, but also to find a New Old Stock (NOS) example at a used pen price. Congrats!

Hi Vincenzo! SO GLAD you were able to get an Original DV Oversize! With that huge gold nib, it should write superbly! You HAVE to try some of that ink that came with it at least once!
