The pro shops I’ve been to around me…act like they just don’t want your business. Everything they do is bare minimum and they critique every decision you make. I had to beg a shop to change the top hats in my Matthews. I could go on and on about why these local shops are so poorly ran for hours. Maybe it’s a good thing, because I’ve gotten pretty good at working on my bow thanks to mfjj. Now that I own the tools, I may never need a pro shop again

Mine is awful. I only go to buy bows (even though theyre $25-50 more than other retailers) because they do let you test bows out compared to bass pro. Mine was having a tuning issue and I was told there was too much cam lean that wasnt covered by warranty and couldn't be fixed/tuned properly. Bowtech sent me to a bass pro instead (even though said shop was a bowtech dealer)and the guy changed out the shims and had it fixed in 5 minutes. Then they wonder why they're not getting as much business.

I bought the adapt 2 for my son and tested it out. Very good bow I put mine threw the testing his did and got a average fps of 318. So not sure why his is so much slower im using 100 grain points. I did upgrade the stabilizer to the Matthews flatline 10 inch. Took a tone of vibration out of the bow. Kept the original sight but man this thing is shooting great! I use a Matthews a lift RS, and honestly the adapt 2 shoots very well compared to mine. If you just upgrade to a goods stabilizer this bow really does shoot and preform like a $1,000 or $1,200 bow. However if you are shooting past 40-45 yards i highly suggest getting a better sight.

I don't mind going to my local shop for some things, ut their prices are WAY HIGHER than online. If they weren't $20-50 more and just few bucks more I don't have an issue with that, but when they're selling a product for $299.99 and every single place online is selling for $249.99, I'm not gonna support local and get f*cked in the process. I'm cool with mark up but getting a** ra*ed I'm not ok with 😂. So your statement is 100% accurate, like when I need work done to my bow I do take it to them as they're really good and not one of these oh it's good enough shops, they are the we can get that better untill perfection. Hell I usually give them more than what they ask for and I tip the bow tech as well. Just there store fronts prices are outrageous.

I like bear, but damn it, I wish they would focus all their attention and energy into a couple high-end options rather than a bunch of mid grade bows.
@DrannanTheSecond4 ай бұрын
That's not really their market though. They do have some higher end but I feel like most people that buy bear do it because they don't want to spend a grand on a bow. Personally I think that the average person doesn't need to spend a grand on a bow to shoot a deer at 20 yards. If you're not competing or hunting out west where you might make a longer shot, you don't need pinpoint accuracy.
@blackbeard03234 ай бұрын
@DrannanTheSecond I can see and appreciate that. I am a Western hunter, and everyone should strive for pinpoint accuracy. Also, if they just removed some of their lower end options and dedicated their energy into fit and finish for their most popular bows, they would be a head. I own a Bear Divergent EKO. It shoots as accurate out to distance as my higher end bows. However, there is an obvious disparity between the noise, draw cycle and after shot feel. Clean up your most popular, pay as much attention to them as Darton does to their mid range bows like the consequence.
@DrannanTheSecond4 ай бұрын
@@blackbeard0323 oh gotcha, northeastern here. pretty much all viable shots are within 20 yards. but yeah I can see that! I think they just like to occupy that new hunter space. Just get a Last Chance Archery Vane Master Pro. Left and right, along with 0-5 degree already on one machine. You can buy the 2 other 4 fletch knobs (90 degree and 70x110 degree). All in with all knobs, you're looking at around $420. But you can fletch any arrow or bolt, in any configuration. You can also index your vanes closer to the nock, or forget away. The thing I love about mine is the ability to replace just 1 vane of you shoot through it. You don't have to do the whole arrow again. I'm not sponsored by them or anything. I used to use a bitz. After the upgrade receiver, and all clamps you're that deep into your wallet anyway. The biggest downside with the VMP side from cost, is the setup. It takes a minute to learn. But if you take the time, you've got the most repeatable, consistent, modular fletching jig. Just my opinion. Good luck, and happy hunting!
