Thanks for picking up other peoples trash. I think bamboo is an excellent substitute. I recently found dinner plates and cutlery made of bamboo in the store. I had no idea!

I loved Tonga. Would love to go back. Such a shame when they invented the plastic water bottle.

I had no idea you were going to catch a fish. I wanted to ask why you don't just setup the rod for a large fish. Another you tube sailor had replied that rods were too much of a pain and he liked the simplicity. I would think, why reinvent the wheel and use the most effective tool you have. What say you oh Adam, Angler of the deep? Nice video by the way.

The lures are good cause they have a bungee which keeps the hook in their mouth...so the big fish can stay on the line swimming around until they tire out. There is no chance of them pulling the line out to the end of the reel, and sometimes it is quite hard for us to stop dead whilst sailing!

Even if it’s collected, places like 🇹🇴 can only bury or burn the plastic unless they ship it to NZ. We need to go back to glass

What did people do before the plastic water bottle?

Hey guys. I know what it's like being chased by dogs, I'm a cyclist. I know it sucks to have to carry things while exercising but they make a small air horn which works great for scaring dogs. You have to wait until they get close then blast that sucker. I got a pit bull a couple years ago and I think he's still running 😂 I ride out on country roads and the trash alone the roads is a sad sight. Fair seas guys ❤⛵⚓

i would have hoped that you two would have been more ecologically astute would have sailed when you could. That would have included sailing when it was not convenient, even with less wind. In the future will you sail when there is little wind to conserve diesel and not burn hydrocarbons? Or will you burn your diesel for convenience?

Oh, come on. Nobody wants to hear this shit from you.
