I don't think I have done any updates on the Hydrangea Hedge yet this year. We planted that hedge in June of last year and look how far it has come already!

Hi Heidi. I have been following for 5 or 6 years. This past May I finally got to visit in person which was a bucket list wish. After watching so long I think you’ve really covered all topics. When I first started watching, you were talking about planting parties. I wish that was something available on this opposite side of Michigan. It’s been fun watching your garden center grow throughout the years and dealing with challenges as they come along. I appreciate the honest feedback on how plants perform. Thanks for the great content!

Hi Heidi, I think I've been watching for 3-4 years now. Time flies. I love when you profile the plants. I'm most interested in how you companion plant. I'm terrible at design and think of myself more as a plant collector. That can make for a very busy looking planting. But, I still have fun! Thanks a bunch!
@gardencrossings
@gardencrossings 2 ай бұрын
Interesting. We really don't pay a ton of attention to companion planting. If they look good and their heights work out they go together. We don't formally plant.
@FrediOlson
@FrediOlson 2 ай бұрын
@@gardencrossings That is funny! I always think that you do, but now I know differently. You have instilled a new confidence in me that I should quit worrying about companion planting and just plant what I like (as long as the conditions meet the plant requirements) Thank so much!

Hey there, Heidi. I’ve been following you for a couple of years. I remember you planting up this space. It turned out to be quite the stunner. I particularly love the choice of plants and the peaceful color palette…they work so nicely together…simple but eye catching. I garden in North Georgia Zone 8a and find your knowledge of plants invaluable which in turn help me to make the right selections for my space. I’ve also placed and received several plant orders from Garden Crossings for hard to find annuals and perennials in my area and have been thoroughly pleased. Love your channel!

Thanks for the helpful video! The combination there is beautiful! We're moving soon and will be updating the existing landscape. Right now I have the LIttle Quick Fire (my husband's favorite), and Bobo (three in front of our porch). I was thinking Bobo, or Puffer Fish to plant in front of our new porch so it was so helpful to see them after a year! I'm thinking the Little Lime Punch now! I actually have quite a few different hydrangeas which are all doing well! Everyone in your store is so helpful and knowledgeable! I've been watching your channel for a couple years.

This video was very informative. I've been watching since spring of this year. I'm in Georgia, zone 8a and have been adding panicle hydrangeas to my landscape. I have little limes, little lime punches and limelight prime. The little lime punches are so awesome with their compact growth habit. Kind of wishing I had gone with them instead of the little limes. I will be adding one more as a focal piece to another bed soon and was deciding between the little lime punch or the little quickfire. I really am leaning towards the little quickfire just because it will be a different look than the other ones I currently have in my yard. Those sedums are gorgeous! I love watching the garden tours so we can see how plants progress throughout the summer. I love watching videos with ideas for what plants to plants together that compliment each other as well. Thanks for all of the awesome videos! Love your channel!

Hi Heidi, I've been following since 2022 I think. That's when I started getting seriously interested in gardening and created my first flower bed. I have a very similar hedge to this one with 5 thujas and 3 quick fire fabs. I underplant with the sunpatiens which I learned from your channel are low maintenance, they just need to be watered, they are doing fabulous in the ground. The only problem I have with sunpatiens this year is in my window boxes, they are struggling with the heat. Unfortunately, have lost 3 already and the ones that are still alive are not producing many flowers :(. I really like how the lemon coral sedum look. I may try that next year.

My hydrangeas grow quite well here. I have blue, pink & purple ones. I planted a Little Limelight 2 years ago. Last year, it did not have any flowers. Hi Heidi. I've been a subscriber for about a year. I love seeing your garden tours to see how plants are growing and changing. I love listening to your tips and information on all the different varieties. I love seeing upcoming, new plants. I'd love to hear more about shrubs and trees and how some need pollinators to produce berries because that's what I'm researching. I'm considering a lemon lace elderberry and summer wine ninebark. My main reason for wanting to add them is for birds to enjoy the berries. I don't fully understand the pollinating part and when or how that occurs. I'm in central Ohio, zone 6b.

Hi Hiedi, I’ve been watching you about a year. I’m in zone 5/6 Do you fertilize more than spring? My hydrangeas are just starting to get buds… I Love Proven Winners plants. My hydrangea punch have been in the ground two years and maybe only 1.5 tall and wide(planted one gallon). Could it be because I’ve got other plants around them? I was going for that cottage look? Should I transplant plant further away from the hydrangeas? Thanks for all your help….❤ Susan 🌸
