@@AeroSlayer74 100% the best fight ive seen birthed from the isle. What dinosaur do want to do next? personally if the dinosaur is in a group it makes it a lot more interesting. Triceratops/raptors with herd/pack rankings and ect
@AeroSlayer746 жыл бұрын
I really didn't expect it to be as "realistic" as it was, given I was on a non-realism server. Either way, it was super tense and also really cool to have it happen like it did. For the next one, I'm not really sure. I would like to do something with a group but doing that in realism is hard because being able to communicate without actually talking is hard, if you get what I mean. By Triceratops, I feel like you are referring back to my old Triceratops herd video, and that was super fun to make, but it wasn't a full "realism documentary" video like these are. However, I can certainly try to work things out! Good ideas.

Low sounds actually travel better through matter. High pitched sounds bounce all around the place in the woods, so they spread out and diminish. This is how we know T-Rex spent a lot of time in wooded habitats, cuz its ears would perceive low calls more accurately, and it would be capable of making long, deep calls in infrasound, not loud and high pitched screeches or howls, which work best in open plains.
@AeroSlayer746 жыл бұрын
Yeah I finished editing part of the video really late at night, and that was one of the parts haha. I guess I wasn't thinking right, but you are correct. I think what I meant to say is that only the low rumbling could be picked up through the vibrations, which is why it sounded like rumbling instead of actual roars. Thanks for catching that!

Allosaurus is a really fun dinosaur to play as in The Isle. I’ll always be primarily a T-Rex main, but there’s a great challenge to playing an Allo. You’re bigger and stronger than most other carnivores and you put out IMMENSE bleed damage, so you can take out pretty good sized prey, but you still gotta keep your eyes peeled for Apexes like T-Rex and Giga. Whenever I get tired of playing Godzilla all day as a T-Rex I’ll always challenge myself and swap to an Allo.

Before the Isle updated to all of this fancy stuff, I had some Ceratosaurus video filmed on Rogue. I cleaned up my computer and I no longer have all of that, but Ceratosaurus is certainly a fun little niche-carnivore to document.
@MrAwsomenoob6 жыл бұрын
@@AeroSlayer74 niche how?
@AeroSlayer746 жыл бұрын
@@MrAwsomenoob Imo Ceratosaurus wasn't big enough to be considered one of the big hitters of the Jurassic. It was a lot smaller than any of the Allosaurus species, and apparently some people think that it did a lot of its hunting in and around water now, so I just don't see it as a carnivore that did a lot of hunting, per-se. I think if it was hunting dinosaurs, it was hunting small ornithopods and baby sauropods and stuff, nothing like what the Allosaurs were hunting.
@kacperr99246 жыл бұрын
AeroSlayer74 He was almost as big as Ceratosaurus. Cerato could grow to almost 8 meters, while biggest Allosauruses were 10 meters. It doesn't change fact that random Allosaurus was mainly 8-9 meters carnivore. Pls stop discriminating.

So since I'm getting this game on Christmas Eve, can anyone tell me recommendations about how to play as a Ceratosaurus or Allosaurus in servers whether realism or not?
@AeroSlayer746 жыл бұрын
Ceratosaurus used to be a tank, but I don't know how it is now. It is in the "crushers" which means that it is more oriented to damaging via brute force instead of bleeding, like Allosaurus. Allosaurus also camouflages really well, I've come to find.
@kylecollier22856 жыл бұрын
AeroSlayer74 so Ceratosaurus is a somewhat speedy tank, while Allosaurus is an ambush/bleeder type. Pretty ironic that my five number one favorites are in this game. In order they go: Spinosaurus, Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Utahraptor, and Albertosaurus. I'll try the Allosaurus first considering it's the first large theropod I knew from Walking with Dinosaurs nostalgia, and I'll try the others as well. Not that I'm skimping out on the others in survival as well.

When Beasts of Bermuda releases, servers in this game will be even more empty than they are now. Dondi and his crew have been working on this game for over 5 years now, yet there are barely any gameplay mechanics besides biting, eating, drinking and nesting. Instead they keep throwing new dinosaurs into the game, re-modeling old models and changing/adding animations which add nothing to the actual gameplay.
@AeroSlayer746 жыл бұрын
I completely agree with you. Since BoB has released, I think that all of the hype is going over there and tbh I'm hoping it does well. When it was originally created, I got to play it, and it was actually really cool with flying and aquatic creatures and all. Obviously they don't have the assets like Dondi and the Isle crew have but they will still give the Isle a run for its money. I think that if Dondi had focused more on gameplay and optimization and addressing the actual problems with the game, the Isle would see a lot more success. But also I want Deinosuchus.
