Hi Kiwi! I have emailed you last night from Shift Your RIFTs at Red Con 2 at RAF Abingdon after the tumult of 400 RIFTers all day and 176 Night Gamers! Anyone looking to try one of these, I wholeheartedly suggest you do, I was lucky enough to be sent one of the really early versions almost 3 years ago now and even back then it greatly out performed the stock ICS L85 Hop unit and is still going strong today....remember that was pretty much version one too, these new ones Im sure are going to be even better, snap one up!. Great stuff Ben, looking forward to see what else you come up with 👍

Well, unfortunately I have to adjust my comment. The design is excellent, but because of the tolerance in the 3d printing, the nub isn't held snugly in the hopup unit, allowing it to rock side to side. So which direction you rotated the dial into determines if the bb flies left or right. I'll try squaring up the window and make a custom nub, but all in all, I think this should be made from harder material like ABS or alloy.

You should patent that dial design 😅 (obviously the hop as well)! I don't understand why most manufacturers havnt implemented some sort of number or direction indicators for hop on/off. Very interesting in trying one out 🤔.

Hey Kiwi, does your hop up kit work for the G&G L85? Even more specifically, a G&G L85 running a wolverine HPA system?

Oeh interesting. So I have a prommy purple installed in my L85. If i were to use this, do i need to use the flat nub that comes with the box or the nub that came with the Prommy?

Is it only me that I see the bbs fly all over the place? This huge barrels are not the usual target we are shooting at? I'm normally shooting at the football sized targets and this hop is more like spay and pray option then something that will improve my precision... Just llok at the bbs... Every third is a flyer... How can shoot at something torso or head sized? Normally that is all I see from the enemy players... Coomon guys... Is it only me that sees that?
