Hey English Kiwi, I recently bought a brand new S&T SMLE and found that it does not feed but does rack and fire without problems. I dont see any sign of damage except that the ridge that moves back with the bolt does not function as it should ie it does not come back with the bolt. What would you suggest I do? Take it apart? Return? Do you have other suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you need to take it back to the shop, especially if it's brand new! If it's come out the box faulty take it it back and get them to exchange it for another or give you a refund :)
