Es mas simple y rápido comprar un reductor de 3/8 a 1/2, asimismo adquirir el tapon de 1/2 y resuelto el problema. También cuando uno va a unir con pegamento dos piezas, se deben lijar antes de aplicar el adherente para obtener una union óptima, ua que con el tiempo; por las presiones constantes del agua, el sol y otros agentes atsmosfericos se degrada el adherente; y entonces aparecen las fugas del líquido

TBH, the only time I can imagine this being used is if you've already got that stuff and need something to work for an hour while you go to the store to get the appropriate hardware. And for some reason you can't leave the water shut off while you make the trip. There are so many issues with it, not the least of which being that it will fail eventually and you have a tap that's essentially all the way on or all the way off.

Oh, is THAT all you have to do to avoid a 39 cent adapter? Just buy a $114 heat gun, a $39 pair of cutters, a $23 tube of adhesive, drink 89 teaspoons of sugary drink 13 times (wait for it), at the cost of (I don't know, I'm not stupid enough to drink the shit), spend a day failing at the first 12 attempts, and simply succeed on the 13th try, only to have this temporary "solution", instead of doing it the right way with the 39 cent adapter, come apart the next day. GREAT IDEA!

como no tengo otro caño de pvp, ni esa tijera para cortarlo, ni el pegamento y menos un secador de cabello para ablandar el plastico de la botella para que se adapte al caño.... agarré un corcho, lo pelé un poco con un cuchillo de cocina (eso si tengo! jajaja), lo embolví con un pedacito de bolsa de plastico (de supermercado, eso tambien tengo! jeje) a modo de teflón, lo coloqué y listo.

Tuviste suerte en encontrar una botella con precinto roto que se agarre bien. Mayormente esas botellas al romperse el precinto ya no sirven y con la presion del agua se tendria que a ver salido.
