Love this video it remind me of when I spoke to a Muslim who had been reading the Bible with his wife and he called me up totally freaking out because he had read the book of Hosea and wondered why God would allow a man to marry a prostitute not realizing that God told him that the woman would become a prostitute I had to explain this to him but it was still very hard for him to understand. I’m not sure why it was so hard for him to understand considering the life that Mohammed left wasn’t exactly the purest thing on earth and Hosea was simply was following God‘s orders and being revealed that his wife would become a harlot, not that she was when he married her. My Muslim friend didn’t really understand that what God was trying to tell Hosea was a picture of what Israel had become to him at the time in the old testament essentially like an unfaithful wife. Also that God was merciful and that he would draw his real back to him. My Muslim friend didn’t seem to understand that either unfortunately.

If the Gospel was corrupted then the question becomes, when and how. Jesus original followers spread out and wrote the books that became the New Testament while in hiding from the Roman and Jewish authorities. Collusion in order to corrupt the original message would have been extremely difficult at a time when no one writer knew the location of all the others. An early version of the New Testament with most of the books was in use by 188 A.D., and we can compare all those early books with today's version and check for corruption.

In that same period I happened to go, with a friend, in the house of a family of young Muslims. In their house, hung on a wall, there was a picture containing the first "sura" of the Koran. The first time I met a muslim who told me about what he believed about Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael and the life of Jesus and so on, I was stunned. It was like meeting someone who believed that Television works because there are ghosts inside a box inside the TV set or that the sun is a chariot some guy rides across the sky in, or that John Lennon was a member of The Beach Boys and Elvis was the first President of the US. I tried to tell him that he gets so much wrong but he just said my bible was corrupt and got very angry with me. I did not press him further for fear he may blow me up in my sleep some night. If Injeel is meant to be the Gospels of Jesus, everything about Jesus was written after he died by different people, so how can Islam say that he was given this book...that doesn't make sense...and handed by who?
